Great purpose and really good BBQ. Without being wordy, the BBQ is solid and while I have only been once and had one item, it was off the walls good, Ill be back. The brisket (moist) sandwich is great, the brisket falling right apart when touched by the fork. The bun was buttered and even without sauce, had a great taste. The food aside, this is a place you come when you want a small reminder of the greatness of this country #Merica. Mission BBQ is Service Member focused and seems to really care about those that give their lives. While I was in, I overheard an employee speaking with a customer, thanking them for their service and asking more about him. This was more than just a phrase the staff have been trained on, it appeared to be a genuine gratitude and appreciation for that customers career of service. Even the employee that handed me my food, took the time to thank me for purchasing their 9/11 Never Forget cup, before asking me which sauces I would be interested in trying. Not because he had to, but because he appreciated me supporting their mission. If you like BBQ, go. If you like supporting the men and women that protect us, here and abroad, go today.

Good BBQ with a great theme. Stopped here with my Dad to try it out after reading some great reviews and we were both happy we did. I got the brisket, pulled chicken, and a jalapeño & cheese sausage. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. The brisket and the pulled chicken were tender and juicy, while the sausage had a nice snap and evenly spread filling. You can add as much flavor as you want with the six sauces that are on each table, three BBQ and three hot. They all have different flavors, from sweet to smoky and everything in between, and I tried (and liked) them all. Theyve got good portion sizes and I left feeling full. I found the staff here to be super friendly. The gentleman who served us took care of us, explained everything to us since it was our first visit, and we had a nice conversation as we were leaving. I wish I got his name, because he was a great employee and really improved our already great experience. When Im in the area, Ill definitely stop by, even if for takeout. Wish there was one in my area!

Being born in Memphis and raised in NC, I have a experienced BBQ palette. This is a must try place. The dry rub pulled pork still left the meat moist and the best part is they let you put your own sauce on it, if you want any at all. Several to choose from. All different. Try them all! Seriously. Sides I tried were Mac n cheese, baked beans, and green beans. All extremely flavorful and paired nicely with the crisp cole slaw which is called "cold slaw" on the menu. Side of cornbread to top it off. I will certainly be back and Im glad to know I have another BBQ restaurant in the area I can trust to smoke their own meat like a dream! ***Other reviews comparing this to Sweet Lucys is a shame. Sweet Lucys wont let you even taste their meat without drowning it in sauce. If you cant taste the meat, you dont know BBQ. Keep it up Mission.

Do NOT believe the rave reviews, which look suspicious to me. Here is my honest review: BABY BACK RIBS: Dry, hard, chewy, extremely salty, old, and HORRIBLE tasting. The very worst ribs that I have ever eaten. SAUCE: Salty ketchup. BEANS: From a can. FRIES: Dark brown, overcooked, dried out, and hard. CORNBREAD: It is pretty hard to mess up cornbread, but Mission BBQ even managed to do that. It was as dry as a desert and tasted very odd, almost like vomit. All told, this was the biggest waste of $27 that I have ever spent on anything! The tipoff that Mission BBQ is terrible should have been that the restaurant was empty at 4:45 PM, despite being in a very busy shopping center located on a major big city highway (Route 1.) Nearby restaurants were packed to the gills. Avoid Mission BBQ like the plague!

Mission BBQ is more of a gimmick than a restaurant. They lure you in with their alleged loyalty to armed forces and first responders, but their food cannot hold a candle to Sweet Lucys, which by the way also donates to charities. Missions St. Louis ribs taste worse than Boston Markets, which themselves taste like hot dogs and ketchup. Their brisket tastes weird and their sides seem like grandmas leftovers from three days ago. Their pulled pork looks more like pig puke. If Sweet Lucys did not exist I would have given two or three stars to Mission BBQ, but they just pale in comparison for the same price.

Its no Sweet Lucys, but extremely friendly staff, generous portions, and a wide selection of sides and beverages made this a nice place for some barbecue. Most of the meat that you order is not sauced ahead of time, but they give you 6 different sauces to try at your table. I really like their pulled pork but the brisket was more like roast beef to me. Again their staff was extremely friendly and since it was our first time there one of them came around the counter, took us aside, and explained the menu options to us.

Very nice experience. The restaurant was clean and staff was pleasant. I also like the fact they allowed me to sample the meat and the sides before ordering. There is self-seating, which is okay, as long as the dining area remains clean which I did not see that as an issue. I enjoyed the food however, I do like a little more seasoned meat, so I found myself drowning my sandwich in one of the 6 sauces they offer. Overall, the experience was good and I would definitely go back.

Best BBQ in town. They always greet you nicely when you come in. The ambiance is very familiar and patriotic. The food is excellent all the time. They got the smoking to perfection. What I like the most is that is fast food with real food. You get in, you order, you pay, you get served, you eat. No waiting for anything. You get a choice of 6 BBQ sauces on the table, free drink refills, and ample sitting. Is a fabulous place to eat very good.

Delcious food, friendly employees, and...delicious food hahaha. Their ribs are beef (red meat in case that concerns you), and theres six different sauces at each table to select from (sometimes theyll go missing)- but its their signature item! You can pay by the rib, and by the end, youll agree that its worth the price! To sum it up, its prepared as fast food, but tastes like its from a REAL restaurant.

The pulled pork was delicious. The Mac n cheese with bread crumbs was my favorite. After we ate the staff was so caring and kind they let us try the bread pudding. That stuff was gold. Im not usually a fan of bread pudding but theirs was the best I ve ever had. I will definitely be back. Really thought the toolbox was a great idea.Next time I throw a functioning know whos catering.

Everything is great here!! I travel all over the country and try bbq from anywhere I can. This is some of the best I have ever had. The yard bird chicken was so juicy and flavorful. Peach cobbler is awesome. Same with the Mac and cheese. Very quick and friendly service including the owner who walks around making sure everything is great and clean as well.
