The food at TExas Roadhouse is good overall but the rest of the experience leaves so much to be desired. The entire restaurant is very crowded. Just walking to our table requires constant dodging other guests and workers carrying trays of food. Once you arrive at your table your likely sitting right up against another table and if you are unlucky enough to be put in the area with tables with chairs once you get in your seat you may not be able to get out. Next, Its just too loud! Guested packed in like sardines, music blasting and then theres the workers dancing and clapping. The idea of there being an interactive experience is great until you go back to my first complaint about the crowd. Now you have workers dancing in a line in a very cramped place. You end up with either rear ends and hands swinging next to your table or loud clapping in your ear. I DO NOT recommend ordering for pick up to go from TEXAS Roadhouse either. Ive tried twice now and when I was hungry for the food bot not in the mood to deal with eating there. both times were horrible. The food was just thrown into the container and a big leaky mess by the time I got home. Also, cold food and hot food at placed into bags together. they are kept at the desk by where you come in not under warming lights or anything to ensure hot food. I waited ten minutes at the desk waiting for "someone will be right with you" to pick up my food while 3-4 other girls stood right there at the desk gossiping. When the someone I was waiting for finally walked up I was shocked to see her hand me the bag that had been sitting on the desk in front of me the entire time. So if you end up with soggy salad, a cup of melted butter to go on the rolls and food that should be hot ends up being barely warm that cost $40. One last note...very low standards for workers at the Southmont location. Poor manners and sloppy appearance. So many other places competing for your business out there. I recommend skipping this one for one with higher standards.

We have been coming here since it opened at least five times a year and we have literally never had a bad meal or "just ok" meal. Sometimes the service was slow but it was always on a busy evening and understandable. Some people complain about the loudness of the music and busy atmosphere with servers line dancing and runners running, but thats the deal there, the theme so to speak. Its called "Texas Roadhouse" and traditionally a roadhouse is roudy. We havent encountered a overly rude server yet as well. I always get the prime rib and its always perfect, like cut it with a butter knife perfect. The sweet potatoes are cooked perfectly and the fries are good. Their house salad is always fresh and crispy and the dressings are good. They have a good selection of soft drinks as well as probably one of the tastiest margaritas in the valley, not frozen, but on the rocks. This is the place to go for an excellent not severely overpriced steak. They were always a good size and cooked perfectly to our order. The only thing Id stay away from is the catfish; I think it must be frozen when they deep fry it and twice Ive gotten it tasting a bit undercooked and the batter is a little too salty in my opinion. If you go between 4-5pm you usually wont have a wait time to be seated and they do offer call-ahead seating which is nice and best utilized if youre going to dinner after 5:30 to avoid waiting because it will get packed on a weekend evening.

Food is always perfect! Steak, ribs and salad are always fresh and steak always cooked to temp. Last time we went on Fathers day! It was very busy and although we did call ahead seating it still took an hour and a half to hour forty five minutes!!! I checked in with Megan the manager and she assured me we were about to be seated! We were seated shortly after! Our server was Kendra she was polite, efficient and most importantly very friendly!!! She kept the bread and drinks coming as we were starving and thirsty! Salad was quickly brought for our table and refills of soda! Followed by our entree! My steak and ribs were cooked perfect and juicy! Great manager, Megan, great service, Kendra, amazing grill team makes this my go to spot for special occasions!!! Thanks Texas Roadhouse team!!! See you soon!

I have been going to this restaurant for several years. The last 1/2 dozen times, the service has been getting progressively worse. Last night was the last time Ill eat here. My drink came out wrong and it took over 10 minutes to get a replacement drink. We waited over 25 minutes for our appetizer, and it NEVER arrived. I ordered ribs and they came out overcooked and dry. It took the waitress about 4 minutes to get silverware (after the food was delivered to the table). One of the sides was missing and it took a long time to get it. After all was said and done, the manager offered to comp the missing appetizer. When we received the bill, we were charged the full amount, including the missing appetizer! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service.

Lets see we walked in and they tried to seat us but we asked for a bigger booth so we stood there for about 10 minutes till person A was able to tell person B that she needs her to ask person C if thats okay mind u the place was more then half empty (Sunday night) and also the original table was dirty then we sat and the small plates that are on the table had leftover food so she grabbed 2 other ones from another table and they had butter on them ... food came and my steak was really over cooked and my chilli had hair in it and the bread was cold my wifes salmon was good and the waitress was very nice other then that I think ill stick to the one in stroudsburg!

Just the best in the area for the price. We have been there 3-4 times and it is consistently good food and service. Ribs and pulled pork for $14??!! Two great sides, great rolls. Plenty of food. Some of the best pork I have had, and I have had the best in West Virginia and the Carolinas. Wifes filet was excellent as well. Great value. It is loud, and the dancing, horse riding, and peanuts everythere are kind of annoying, but to me the important things are the food and service. If you do call ahead, you will get right in. It is ALWAYS crowded, due to popularity and limited hours, but we get right in when we call an hour ahead.

On 10/22/16 four adults had the pleasure of eating at the Texas Roadhouse. We had a very charming young lady named Chealsey and she was just supper. We enjoyed her so much that we call the manager over later and told her she should be given a merit raise. Later that evening I saw her with a child not more the 3 years of age that had lost her parents in the roadhouse. She had made that child feel right at home taking her by the hand looking for her parents. She seems like a real team leader and we will ask for the next time we eat at the roadhouse. Thank you Chealsey for a great evening. The Cannones
