Had dinner at Positanos on Feb 18, 2009. This was the first and last time that Ill be eating there. The highlight of the meal was the sausage and broccoli rabe appetizer - which was quite good. My wife began with a caesar salad which was nothing more than chopped iceberg lettuce with caesar dressing. Honestly Ive seen better looking bagged salads from Genuardis. For the main course I ordered Veal Caprese - there is nothing I enjoy more than a good piece of veal. The first problem was the portion size - the veal was paper thin (which is fine) but there were only 3 small pieces on the plate. I could have eaten the entire meal comfortably in 2 bites. My wife had a mixed seafood dish which she rated as fair, at best. Save yourself the disappointment and eat down the street at Primavera - so much better!

Disgusting. No one else was in the restaurant. We were talked into a salad that was literally chopped radish smothered in vinegar. The sauce on our pasta was probably from a Ragu jar. When I bit into the sausage chunk, I literally spit it out into my napkin to keep myself from blowing chunks all over the waiters face. Speaking of the waiter, his disgustingly cracked hands and dirty fingernails was enough to make me lose my appetite. My wifes pasta had disgusting, uncooked massive chunks of eggplant. Simply put DISGUSTING AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My husband and i went for a weekday lunch. We were the only ones there. Service was terrible. No drink refills until we flagged the waitress down. eggplant panini was disgusting. It looked like they tried to bread the eggplant and it was soggy and straight-from-the-fridge cold. Couldn't find anyone to get the check - ended up guessing what we owed and leaving cash. Would absolutely NOT recommend.

My Chicken Romano was very dry and bland, the peppers very hot, the potatoes old and reheated. My wifes Veal Capresse was tough and tasteless with the same awful potatoes. The sautéed vegetables were incredibly salty but had some tasty caramelization. I can only conclude that however attentive the waiters and reassuring the physical setting, the chef really doesnt have his/her act together.

the owner of this restaraunt is the most racist anti semenic person i have ever met. He hates jews nd every other minority. I know first hand because i worked directly under him as a manager he is a terrible person, his LCB violations are yards long if you are a decent person dnt go to this terrable place he is a bad man who should be stopped!!!
