I have been going to Slainte for years. Hands down they have the best food. Their chips are amazing, and their burgers are to die for. However, the first time I went there the bartender would not let me get anything BUT a stuffed burger, which I thought was rude. There burgers are GOOD but I should be able to choose what I want. There beer selection is so so. You have to wait a long time for your burger ( or any food) because there is only one cook. (Although she is amazing). Its a nice small quiet space. A little expensive, and the bartender is a little cocky. She is always saying how amazing her burger is but Ive had some bad ones too. She loves to get into conversation, but like I said she is somewhat cocky and very sarcastic. Their burgers are almost 10 dollars which is expensive and would be worth it if the service was faster and the bartender was nicer.

Why can a 21 year not have a beer with her dinner if the rest of the party in her group are under 21. I was told someone at my table needed to be 25 for me to have a beer. Then I asked if I could have a beer at the bar then join my table, the bartender was ok with it but they actually put together a small panel to make the decision and the manager said no. This would have been my first time having a beer in a restaurant since I turned 21, but I couldnt even do that. I will never step foot in this restaurant again, ever. And I will make sure all my 21 year old friends and classmates are well aware of their "Policy"

Fresh, Stuffed Burger was well worth the trip. Really liked being out on the deck in the evening. Had a great Burger, cold beer, and we threw a few games of Quoits. Price made the visit even better. Surprised theres a parking lot in back. I think theyre the only place on Northampton St with one of those! Beats having to park on the Seventh St. hill up the street!

I was really disappointed in this place. The staff was rude, the beers were watery, and the bar was dusty and dirty. The waitress stuck her finger in my face and said i was boring because i didnt order the special. I ate my food paid my tab and left without ordering another drink.

This is not your fathers burger! The burgers are fantastic. If youre the type of person that puts potato chips on summer burgers, youll love the food here. They have the most creative blends of flavors and they are well thought out. Ive enjoyed every meal here.

Very interesting selection of stuffed burgers. I had the burger stuffed with mac and cheese and it was good. Could have been seasoned better and the mac/cheese looked like Kraft, but it was tasty and juicy. One downside was my beer was a little funky.

Great food and the burgers are fun and different. The quesadilla is amazing as well. It is all in the homemade salsa. It from scratch. The owner may seem a bit tough at first but really is great to talk with. Definitely coming back.
