OMG if I could give this place a negative star rating I would but in order to right a review I had to give it at least one....OK now I love Chinese food and I have eaten at some amazing places and I was excited to try a new place I have never been too but after getting a huge lecture on how she has her own way of making the signature dishes I should of known to turn around and leave but hey I was there and my kids where hungry so I ordered sweet and sour chicken vegetable lo main and general twos chicken and chicken fries rice and non I mean non of it was edible it was the worst food I have ever tried to eat it was gooey and had a weird smell I would Never recommend eating there please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ...we ended up in Hawley and was able to get some amazing food

Dont waste your money. The food is horrible. The rice had absolutely no flavor and the low mein tasted rotten. I also found the corner of a soy sauce packet in my lo mein, which leads me to believe they re-serve other peoples food. I am beyond disgusted. The General Tsaos is NOT General Tsaos at all. They serve boiled chicken in a horrible sauce with sautéed vegetables. Doesnt come close to being what is expected. How on earth haveso many people eaten here and given it positive reviews? I am so confused. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN, and I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. We have always ordered from China Star Chen and I am sorry that I didnt just order from them tonight. They have the best food in town hands down!

I have been going there for a long time and didnt even know it. I recently started eating sushi there as soon as 4 years ago. Its always been amazing I didnt know this place existed but my dad told me he used to get chinese from there when i was like 3. Im 21 now. This place never has brought me bad, weird smelling, un-taste worthy food. I love the service, traditional atmosphere, and most of all food. I have not yet went somewhere else with even comparable sushi. And fried cheesecake for dessert is a must try!

I live in NYC... apparently where the best sushi places in the entire country reside. I went to my undergraduate at ESU. After coming to NYC for my graduate degree... I must say that Bamboo is by FAR the best sushi place I have EVER been to. The rolls are simply amazing and the staff is nothing but friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant. When we come back to ESU for a reunion we always go here. It is simply the best sushi place ever.

Great service and food! So sorry they are selling their business but I have heard they have been there for a long time. Its one of the last few true Chinese restaurants that I remember as a child. Now a days, there is primarily just take out where you usually cannot or do not want to sit to eat. But, I will enjoy them while Im here! Very generous portions that require a box to take home for another day! Try the tin foil chicken appetizer. Its so GOOD!

This place will always my favorite! I have been coming here ever since I was a little boy with my mom until now at 24 years old. This place will always be famous for their general chicken and other great foods, the owners are very friendly and love their customers, I travel from Allentown to come here when me and my fiancé are craving Chinese food.

Was my favorite place to get sushi for years until I seen a roach crawl across the floor and later get my food with a bug in it. Upon confronting them I was pretty much told "S**t Happens!" Well-- Havent been back since. Now I just drive a few more miles for the same thing, if not better.

I moved to the Poconos from Southern California ten years ago and Bamboo House/Koi has THE BEST SUSHI AND SASHIMI in the area! The prices are right, the service is excellent, portions are large and the fish is FRESH and delicious! Highly recommended!

Bamboo House has the ABSOLUTELY BEST fried wontons I have ever had. Soups are delicious. We love to go for a casual, good meal with big portions to take home. Lynn ths owner is very nice and the waiter is great.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. It is not a buffet. It is a sit down restaurant where you get served. The price is right and you cant beat the lunch specials or the service.
