I normally avoid confrontation, and I understand that the owner has to keep the lights on in the place. I normally dont complain about my food but, shame on me. I guess I was the big loser. Me and my wife had decided to try this spot out because a few friends had mentioned how "fresh" the food was. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and our server Dennis was a gentleman. He quickly got us a high-chair for our little one, and also asked if he could get anything for her! A good first impression is always important, but more important is the impression that will last. We had ordered a sushi roll, Hibachi Chicken, and Chicken Pad Thai. Salad and Miso soup were both good, sushi was fantastic. Food came out quick, and hot! The Pad Thai I ordered was nothing similar to what Ive had in the past (I was a professional chef and worked in a Thai kitchen...) and the picture on the menu was very misleading. I was expecting bean sprouts, peanuts, a fresh lime, fresh cilantro. NOPE. I got a loaf of brown noodles that were overcooked with red onion, peppers, and bits of chicken, egg and tofu. ( NO PEANUT NO LIME NO CILANTRO) Not to mention they used WAY TOO MUCH TAMARIND. I tried to eat it, I looked at my wife with disappointment and told her my displeasure, and I hate to complain about my food. Im not going to force this down my throat. I complained to the owner and he proceeded to give me a "discount" which turned out to be 20% off my 12.00 pad Thai. 2 bucks, thanks buddy. I asked again, explained my displeasure and dis satisfaction. He began to get angry with me, and tell me that most Americans dont know how to eat pad Thai, and that the way he makes it is the real way and the best. He told me to make some American sauce and put it on there, I almost told the guy off. So I suppose because Im "American" I dont know how to eat pad Thai. Okay? So eventually he gave me a whole 50% off after I told him we werent coming back. I really had to argue with this guy for 10 minutes to get 4 dollars. As I proceeded to leave we had boxed the food because my wife said if were paying for it lets at least take the food home. On the way out he says "So I see youre taking it home, so it was good!" (being sarcastic) Wow, I just decided to leave that crap on the table. Not coming back, and youre lucky you didnt get a 1 star. CONCLUSION - DONT complain about your food because he will try to intimidate you and get aggressive...

I really enjoy the food but the delivery driver needs a new job! I ordered through grub hub and he arrived a good 20 minutes before the projected delivery time so I was thrilled! Then he proceeds to tell me "this place is too far" and that there are closer places. He said that "for my own sake" I shouldnt order there because on a busy night I might wait 2 hours. Honestly, if I knew I had to wait that long ahead of time (as ordering) I probably would still wait. I really enjoy the food. I handed him a cash tip and he didnt break stride in trying to explain to me why I should not get food from there. He told me that he cannot explain it to the owners because "theyre asian and dont understand". I think for a $40 order, plus delivery fee and tip you can bite the bullet and do your job.

Went in at 9 o clock at night for our first visit. Everyone was super efficient and friendly. We had one of the best sushi dinners ever (and we eat a lot of sushi), everything was done perfectly with crispy hot tempura and fresh fish. Despite being late night diners we did not feel rushed at all and the service was as good as the food. We will likely be switching to Ocean as our new sushi spot.

I love the atmosphere and their sushi is hands down the best that Ive had in Gloucester County. If youre looking for specialty rolls, I highly recommend the Salmon Lover Roll and Sexy Girl Roll. I really enjoy their ginger salad as an appetizer.

by far the best sushi and Japanese in the closer area. The all you can eat sushi is more than worth it on sunday and monday. Get the Tuna Spoons, they are probably the best thing on the menu and worth every penny.
