My favorite place to eat breakfast, hands down. Coffee is served in these hodgepodge of differing cups, all large sizes. The place is always busy, this is how you know its good. The interior is basically an old house, this is not a large place and you will be kind of close to the folks sitting next to you. I find the service to be great. Sure, the waitresses are super busy, but I have never been neglected. I sit at the counter and do tables, never had a bad experience. If you are stuck up, or needy, you may have a problem. They simply dont have time for idle chit chat. The food is the real star here. Their specials are unique and always great. They use local and fresh ingredients when possible. As an example, when the local farms are harvesting peaches, you get pancakes with peaches inside them, waffles, etc. My favorite two items are the Cornmeal pancakes, and the Oatmeal Raisin w/walnut pancakes. They are simply the best. My kids love the omelette specials, as often they feature unique types of cheeses. I have been to this place probably 30 times, only for breakfast. One day I will have lunch here and amend my review. You cant go wrong with this place.

If I were only reviewing the food, this place would have 5 stars. However, Ive been to the diner several times now and, each time, the customer service has been lacking. I honestly have yet to see any of the staff smile! This is survivable, but then today happened; the specials board failed to mention that an omelet had bacon in it (which, yes, pickiness, but I dont eat it). So I apologized a thousand times and sent it back. Not once did they apologize to me, and every single one of them headed over to scrutinize the board before one of them finally changed it. Im a server myself, and no matter how bad my day is or what the mistake, its my job to smile and take responsibility. I just like my service to give me the same respect, and not give off a constant air of misery. If they smiled, there would be a world of difference, but all Ive seen of them makes them seem entirely insincere.

3rd time here. Food is still great. Service...well, you get a lot of time to talk with your company. Service takes drink order, food order, delivers food, and delivers check. Everything else you may need youll likely need to fend for yourself (napkins, utensils, etc.). The A/C keeps the place warm and the layout of the place doesnt keep the whole place at the same temp. Yet, as with the last 2 visits, its a relaxing experience with good food and worth the wait (15 mins for a party of 4 at 10:15 on a Friday - not bad).

Very disappointed. I ordered the Southern Breakfast Platter with the eggs over easy and the home fries well done. First, the sausage gravy. It was brown, tasteless, and greasy. The biscuit under the gravy was very good. Next the eggs, I understand over easy can have runny whites but these were clear. They were so raw, i didnt bother to take a bite. The well done home fries, brown on the outside, half cooked on the inside. The one star is for a friendly staff and good coffee.

This place is fantastic. The food is awesome and they have daily specials that add a lot of variety to their menu. Food is fresh and served quickly. Staff is friendly and professional (disregard the one-star complainer who says otherwise). I love this place so much I come here for breakfast or lunch a few times a week. Good vegetarian options. Fresh, local ingredients. Reasonably priced.

"The counter girl is too young to be professional. She is ignoring me. Too bad! First time customer.... you lost me!" That was the first comment and i shared it with female manager before leaving. She was stressed out, aggressive, and made a scene in front of other customers when I did so. She made no effort to fix the situation. Please take this feedback and adjust your customer service!

Stumbled on this place while I was going on an enjoyable Sunday afternoon drive through rural PA. I got the tuna melt and a coke, and it just hit the spot. The bread was toasted perfectly, and the cheese (which I believe was provolone) was nice and cheesy. Came with a side of potato chips (ruffles) and a couple of slices of pickle, which are always a great addition to any tuna melt.

Worst breakfast food ever! The eggs tasted like they were cooked in old motor oil and the toast was so cold that the butter refused to melt. The waitress was very nice and took them back and got me some new eggs and toast. The toast was hot this time but the eggs were just as bad. I would NEVER go back here, if a restaurant cant even make passable eggs, they shouldnt be in business!

I came in here to poop and was surprised to find that I wanted more coffee. Now every time I flush,I get in my car and drive straight here . I would love to give a longer review, but who just showed up at the door? All of the other reindeer going for a dive. The used to fart and call me stinky quack fat, they never let poor Ezin join in any reindeer paintball tournies!

Cross Keys Diner lives up to being a great diner. Service staff is always friendly and does a great job managing the crowd. Specials are always creative and taste great and the items on the regular menu are prepared consistently. Even when things dont go as planned the staff is proactive and eager to fix the problem. Its our familys favorite place to have breakfast.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with our experience here. The place has a very claustrophobic atmosphere and the waiting area is really cramped when they are busy. You need to like being in other peoples person space. The food was subpar and took longer than it should have to arrive to us. I would not recommend going here unless you were in a pinch.

Hands down the best eggs benedict ever. Their specials are always awesome, fresh and plentiful. I was shocked to see all the negative comments about the service. Its a busy place and the staff are working hard. You get your food fast and coffee refills are plentiful. This is by far my favorite breakfast joint around!

Hands Down best breakfast spot in D-town! Starting with excellent ingredients, creative omelettes, hot jo, and funky, familiar, and fun atmosphere. You might pay a buck or two more for your way better than average experience - but sooooo worth it. Always a specials board worth checking out too.

This vintage style diner has good breakfasts at reasonable prices. I like getting the veggie omlet, which comes with home fries and toast. The omlet is so big that I typically take half with me to eat later for lunch. The wait staff is always friendly and the service is pretty quick.

Great breakfast! A little out of the way of youre not from the area but worth it if you are in town. Can get crowded and is fairly small, I would say dont wait more than a half hour as there are other places to go in Doylestown. But definitely a cute diner with good food at food prices.
