Im not a foodie, so writing a review of a restaurant isnt one of the things I usually do. However, this place deserves a review. Ive been there twice, and both times the food and the service were great. We ate there last summer, and the items in the portabello salad tasted like they had just been bought at the farmers market. Yum. The fried potatoes were incredible. Crispy, fresh tasting and no sign of oil. How they did that I do not know. The hamburgers are huge and dont taste like they are made from frozen meat. We just had another meal there and the food was just as good. This time, being December, the food obviously didnt just come from a farmers market, but it still was very good. Also, on Sundays they have a spaghetti or ravioli special for only $7. We didnt order that, but plenty of customers who appeared to be regulars did and it looked like they enjoyed their meals. The restaurant is in an old bar which Im sure the steel workers hung out after their shift was over back in the day. Its clean and fresh inside, but it retains the look of the steel mill era. There is ample free parking and its only ten minutes away from Pittsburgh Mills and Route 28.

Went to this place for dinner based on some of the previous reviews. Was first off put by the location. A crummy dirty bar in a pretty run down area. First walking in I probably should have left. You could see into the offices and kitchen which were both a mess. And this young boy kept going in and out of the kitchen with an apron on. I still wonder if he was the head chef (kidding, but strange). They only take cash. And the bar had no taps. A "pub" with no drafts? It took about 30 minutes to get our soup and salad, which tasted fine. After over an hour, I saw our food sitting at the window. The waitress walked by it 3 times while it got cold. Then another waitress delivered it to another table at the other side of the bar. After it sat at their table for 15 minutes, they tried to give it to us saying "no one touched it". Health violations much? I canceled our order, paid, and left. Do not recommend.

was at the mall and searched for something noncommercial decided to check this place out. Great hole in the wall. Outside look doesnt do it justice. Looks like good bbq definitely will be back to try
