Disappointing to say the least. I visited here sometime ago, and ordered the crawfish pasta. What I expected was crawfish tails / meat with an alfredo sauce. What I got was steam crawfish... Covered and mixed in with with pasta and alfredo sauce. The whole crawfish. Legs, antenna, little black eyes, all broken off of the shell and floating around in my pasta. It was disgusting and inedible. The sauce had a good flavor, but if the chef in the back cant even figure out to get the meat out of the crawfish, before serving it, maybe he shouldnt be a chef. Could you imagine getting shimp alfredo, and having whole shrimp, head and all covered in noodles and alfredo sauce? Or Crab alfredo, with a whole crab perched at the bottom. It was ridiculous. I probably wont come back here.

This place was missing something. The wedding soup is nothing like the wedding soup at the Italian oven in Dubois. The flavor just wasnt there and it was more broth than anything else. Bread could be warmed before being brought out to the tables. Service was on the slower side but we were also there with a big group so thats probably why. They do have a "fall menu" which we thought was cool. Overall, not my favorite italian oven but the food was still pretty tasty so I would recommend this restaurant to others.

The waitresses are very helpful and polite. I wasnt sure about the soup of the day so one waitress brought me it to try, saying that if I didnt like it she would get me a different soup and I would not be charged for the first one. I thought this was food service at its best. The atmosphere is that of a small pizza place. However the food outdoes some of the larger food chains I have eaten at. I highly recommend their chicken marsala, the pepper tomatoe soup, and more than I can list.

Went for my bday i love the food its Great food could be alot cleaner dust in vents was caked on them dust everywhere floors looked dirty could be the age of the restaurant but the lil things count. Waitress was good until i seen her touch bread with her bare hands...i work in the restaurant business so im not to polite when i see criticals

If I could give this place more than 5.0 out of 5 I would. There food is so good and there pizza is awesome. My biggest concern is the door on the bathroom is missing a handle and one time I got stuck in there. I eventually got out. My other concern is how dirty the restrooms are there. If you want really good Italian food go here.

The Italian oven has been here a long time. Serving good food and a nice portion. We have had some questionable service in the past. But yesterday Brett served up an amazing meal, brought quickly and with a attitude that made us want to go back soon. Thats how I remember The Italian oven, glad its back.

Nice little gem in a small town. Has a pretty wide variety of foods. Good portions too. The atmosphere didnt quite seem to match an Italian restaurant theme but it was clean and the staff were one of the most friendly Ive come across. Price is definitely fair for some pretty good food.

This is my favorite restaurant. They have a huge variety, so even someone who doesnt like Italian will have plenty to choose from. Their zucchini appetizer is my favorite by far. Prices could be a bit lower, but I will continue to go because no other restaurant is like them.

A real unexpected gem in Connellsville! Our favorites are the mushroom bread, tomato bread, and the fried zucchini. Every entree weve had has been delicious, and the prices are great. Definitely the place to go if youre thinking about Italian in Connellsville.

The food was excellent, the service was kind and cheerful. None of the sauces were too buttery, and the dishes were well balanced between sauce, pasta, and protein. Also, the fried zucchini appetizer was simply amazing.
