We usually order take out from Kenzo but they are temporarily closed for remodeling. Big mistake. Its important to know your Chinese take-out place. It can be oh so good, or oh so wrong! First of all, completely over priced for the quality. My husband picked up shrimp fried rice, and two egg rolls for each of us. They included absolutely no sauce, which is unheard of with any Chinese restaurant. You always at least get the cheap sweet and sour sauce, some sort of mustard sauce, and sometimes a soy sauce. Nothing. The shrimp fried rice was very dry and had no flavor. Its hard to mess up shrimp fried rice. The egg rolls were okay - I had some good mustard sauce here at home and added it for flavor, but they were greasy. To spend $24 for food that you end up throwing out, thats just wrong! Ive purchased frozen Innovasion brand fried rice and orange chicken that tastes much better than what we just wasted our money on. I usually reserve my reviews for edit in case a second trip turns out different, but well never go back. Theres a reason it was empty. This only makes me appreciate Kenzo more.

Not only do they only take cash, but their food tastes awful. I went there at 8PM when I was passing through this town... Ive ordered chow mien in New York, DC, California, Ohio, Colorado, Texas, AND EVEN CHINA.... Its always deep fried noodles. EVERYWHERE. They give me some gummy concoction with microwaved chicken -- no fried noodles -- and I tell them, "This isnt chicken chow mien." They had the audacity to tell me I ordered the wrong thing... it wasnt. AWFUL service. Im sorry, but if you own a Chinese restaurant, you should know chow mien.

This is a pretty good establishment, the food is decent; I would rate it above average in regards to the "usual" American / Chinese food you would come to expect. The owner or who I expect to be the owner/operator is polite, never any complaint there. Good food, good service, the only thing to watch out for is Brandon,, haha. Good luck avoiding him, maybe hell be in china haha!!.. China Garden doesnt have a soda fountain just bottles :P.

Food tasted good but did not receive what I ordered. I ordered sesame chicken but was brought General Tsos. When I told them what I ordered they took my dish back, sprinkled sesame seeds on the General Tsos and brought it back to me. When I called them out she told me Tsos and sesame chicken are the same dish, which theyre not. The meal was good but Im paying to eat what I ordered so cmon, just make me what I ordered lol.

I try to eat here as often as I can. Food is always good and hot, made to order. Family owned and very affordable. Dont tell everybody about it, this is one of my favorite whole in the walls =)By the way, some of the bad ratings given to this place are actually for buffet across the street...stay far away from there unless you like having your stomach pumped =/

Ive lived in Chambersburg my whole life & this is the only Chinese food place in town that my family would get from. Now that Im an adult, Ive seen Chinese food places come & go but this has always been here & been amazing. Its the only Chinese food place Ill eat at anymore. BEST AROUND FOR SURE. Friendly, family oriented staff & amazing food.

Awful food, the board of health should investigate this place.....food was so old on the bar that it was dried and stuck to the pan. Not work a buck, let alone $10 bucks per person they charged me, PLUS chargeing for the refil of flat soda.

Not good at all! Had General Tsos with Pork Lo Men. More onions & green stuff then noodles. The Crab Rangoon were over cooked & no sauce with them. I will drive the extra 10-15 min to China One on Wayne Ave for now on

ordered General Tso Chicken and Sesame chicken, both were very overcooked and hard to bite and eat. the only good out of this was the steamed dumplings and the egg rolls. will not go back here.

I love this place, they are always willing to take special orders. Nicest People and the best Chinese Food around this area. I highly recommend!!!!!!!! Next to Walmart.
