For the entrees, we got the daeji bulgogi and buldak, both of which were rather mediocre. The two main issues were that 1) there was too much sauce on both plates, and 2) there were few other seasonings or flavors. For 1), it appears from the Yelp pics for this place that theyre not very consistent--some appear drenched in sauce, while others actually look appetizing. We got the former, and that probably led to 2); the only taste was spicy, and while there were some onion and carrot pieces their taste was basically overwhelmed by the sauce. Other than that, the sesame was probably a bit overdone, and some scallion would probably have helped a lot.

Visited with a Korean friend and her kids. There arent any Korean places in NW PA so it was a real treat for them. A big warning for anybody on a schedule; the dishes are all homemade by one person and space is extremely limited. We had to wait outside for fifteen minutes just to be seated, and thirty or more for our meals. The food was great, my Korean friend was impressed with all of it and I loved it as well. The proprietor is an affable Korean lady who seems really connected to her customers. The price was higher than we would have liked but it was worth it. I definitely recommend it!

This place is by far the best Korean food in the Pittsburgh area, hell in all of South Western PA!! The only drawl back is that it is a very small place and I would strongly suggest getting take out instead of eating in. Even though the owner is the nicest lady in the world, its so small in the place that they only have like 4 small tables and a small bar area that seats 4 I think. Other then that, there is nothing wrong with the place and it is awesome food. Man du soup or the man du dinner is my favorite.

This was my first experience with Korean food and it was great. The food is amazing and fresh. She cooks it once you put your order in and suprised us with some appetizers that we great. Pretty spicy stuff but great flavor. Half the fun of the place is the owner. Shes a grandmother and very funny. Not afraid to give you a hard time in good spirits and I think everyone can find some of their grandma in her. Highly recomend this place but get there early because the seating is limited and it fills up.

What a gem! Randomly found myself in Washington, PA starving and found this joint online... to my surprise, this small roadside stall offers one of the best Korean food in Pittsburgh! The owner and cook is so friendly and welcoming I didnt feel out of place at all despite the fact that this local spot seems to the Korean Cheers here everyone literally knows each others name... this place is so good that Im considering trekking here from my apt in the Strip every time I need a Korean food fix!

Its in the strangest location possible but has a built a cult following in the greater Pittsburgh area through word of mouth alone. Simply put, this is the best Korean restaurant in Western Pennsylvania. Dishes are all hand prepared and you can taste it. I recommend the bulgogi (thinly sliced marinated steak), white rice, and Korean cole slaw.

The best Korean food in Pittsburgh. Ms. Kwan is delightful. Probably the smallest restaurant Ive ever been in, I was happy to stand. It will be tight quarters, you will wait upwards of an hour for your food, but its all home made and delicious. Couldnt recommend it enough.

Really enjoyed this place! Was small, with seating for around 10 people. Claustrophobes beware!! Found out after we arrived, that some folks had brought their own bottles of wine. That would have been nice to have known. Food was excellent, no wine needed.

Korean food for the very first time. And it was really great. If you like spicy Asian food go there. The restaurant is small. Kinda familiar atmosphere. It is a bit offside but definitely worth the drive. Will come back.

Anyone who has spent time in South Korea would know how wonderfully authentic the Golden Pig is. My family travels from West Virgina to visit with Ms. Kwon, and to enjoy the best Korean cuisine to be found

Favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. Usually a wait because they only seat about 10 people. Get takeout or expect a wait. Its well worth it.
