Went here for a quick lunch after reading the reviews on here. The place is definitely aligned with a take-out joint, having only 3 tables and no ambiance whatsoever. The service was fine, the place is clean. The portion of the food was average. I had beef with broccoli. The beef was rubbery, the vegetables seemed fresh, but neither were generous. The sauce was fine. But what really put me off was the amount of grease or oil at the bottom of the plastic serving plate. I have a feeling that the main reason people rated this place more than 3 stars is that the prices are low, but then that is absolutely reflected in the quality of the meal. Recommend looking at the much better options in the area, unless you understand and accept that you get what you pay for.

Best food Ive had in a long time. Excellent service, very good sized portions, and good quality meats and vegetables. I have always been treated extremely well by everyone there. I would recommend China Star to anyone who is looking for high quality Chinese food at a good price with excellent service. Also, I read the review by the guy Kevin Adams... he needs to keep his mouth shut, his opinion is pretty much worthless as far as I am concerned. If he cant do an unbiased review based on the actual product and service than he needs to stop wasting everyone elses time with his comments. Rubbery meat? Where the heck does that come from? Keep your negative comments to your self, the rest of us dont need them.

This is the best in the Pennsylvania suburbs. Even holds its own next to Chinese food in Brooklyn NY. My family has been ordering here since 2008 when we moved to Blue Bell. Cindy, the owner, is the best. Her motto was always "I will do my best for you." She and her staff have done that consistently over the years. I have even gotten my co-workers hooked. I work at a Well known Bank and the entire staff loves the food here. The food is always made fresh and delivered promptly and any accommodations you may require (vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian etc.) They can do it! Keep up the great work guys! If you are looking for great fresh Chinese food, China Star of Blue Bell is the place to go!

I will never order from here again. I ordered 4 chicken wings and a shrimp roll......I received one wing and 3 "drumsticks" and the shrimp roll only had one shrimp in there. I am not one to complain about my food but this order took the cake....so I decided to call. The lady that is at the register is rude and unhung up on me 3 times when I called to explain that my order was messed up. She kept telling me that it was impossible for there food to be cold and my order to be messed up and then hung up on me. Of course I called back and she proceeded to hang up on me 2 more times. I have never had this type of service and I will never ever ever go back to this place.

Favorite local Chinese take-out place! Usually do delivery and the food arrives so fast and super hot! They usually give me something extra with my order, like an egg roll or soda which is a nice touch. Ive tried a bit of of everything on their menu and recommend it all! Particularly the beef broccoli, kung pao chicken, fried dumplings, Singapore noodles, pork lo mein, bean curd anything, shrimp ho fun, pork fried rice, and bourbon chicken! So many great options. I like that the meat tastes like meat (as opposed to some strange meat product) and they give you plenty of good quality veggies and the sauce is delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Finally, a Chinese takeout restaurant that uses quality ingredients! Thank you for standing up against serving combo platters featuring breaded mystery meat and old yellow rice! I went with the Szechuan chicken combo and was NOT let down. Grade A white meat chicken with fresh veggies and quality pork fried rice for a fair price. Is that too much to ask for? I will be returning for sure.

I now live in King Prussia where there are plenty of great resturants and I still make the drive just to eat here.

I looked on Yelp to find one of the best restaurant in my area and unfortunately I chose this one based on the reviews. Worst food ever. I spent $62 to have garbage delivered to me and thats exactly where it went. So not only did I spend $62 I also gave a $15 tip. Never again well I trust Yelp

Their ho fun is the best! Flat rice noodles with the perfect flavor. The family is really nice and hardworking too. Sometimes the time they give you is a little off but theyre still very quick!
