Gets 3 stars because the hoagie was decent. My hubby and I visited here. The cashier/front end woman was incredibly rude. She wasnt knowledgeable of her own employers wares, seemed very bothered when asked anything, tried to put our order in before we were finished making it then was mad when she had to make alterations to it. The list of hoagies does not say what what comes on the hoagies and as I said, the front end woman was no help at all. The rest of the items in the store (drinks and deli meat etc.) were WAY over priced. The hoagie we shared, a Turkey Bacon Cheddar, was good and had great portions for the price. However, weve both had better. Foxs Pizza Den has a way better tasting (though smaller portioned) Turkey Bacon Cheddar. We originally were going to get 2 hoagies, we wanted to try an Italian too, Id read an article saying they had the best Italian in Pittsburgh... Id always believed that Paisanos on Warrington Ave had the best Italian but we were going to give these guys a shot. But with that horrible service at the counter we decided to get just that first one we ordered. We wont be returning.

Ive lived no more than a block or so from this little hole in the wall since I was a boy. During high school (about 7 years ago) I went to visit this joint with my younger brother and I was hooked. I originally used to go for the Torch hoagie, but now only get the Real Italian Hoagie. They slice all of their own meats, use Pittsburghs Cellones breads, and make the hoagie any way you want it. I live in Colorado now and anytime I come back home, I make it my business to go and visit this shop for a hoagie. Id say that to most people the place could be a little ratty and the owner works with his mom and dad only, so its a small business with a niche in our community. Its a quality hoagie (better than the other surrounding pizza and sandwich shops) that reminds me of home.

My first child was born and my wife wanted a bethel deli hoagie...when my second child was born my wife looked at me like I knew what to do...so I went a got her a bethel deli hoagie. Dude has no patience and does not suffer the fool, but he throws out THEE bomb hoagie

After reading other good reviews I decided to try the place being a sandwich lover myself. The owner was very unprofessional and rude to me as a customer using curse words. The services was very unsatisfactory and the food was not very good I will never be back.
