This review is for the deli... This is a revised review and rating... Its a complaint. Today I came here at 530pm and purchased $14.48 in cold cuts... I did not intend to come here since I only intended to go to the airport and let the lady know this... Anyway, I was told that she expected me to spend a lot more "since I came all the way from Homestead" then when I asked for a styrofoam sandwich container to keep my cold cuts cold she said " thats a lot of money for a styrofoam container for such a small order" Really lady? That container cost you maybe 10cents and Ive been coming here for years usually spending around $40... I offered to give her a dollar for the container and seeing my change of demeanor she declined... Now for my original review: A few times a year, for years now, Ive been driveing an hour each way from Homestead to buy their German deli meats and bread... They have a great selection of deli German deli meats, Wurst and imported cheeses some of wich are not available at other German stores... The selection of other German foods and beers is also good... The staff are very friendly and all speak English. They also speak German wich gives me a chance to brush up on my native language...

Great spot next to an amazing restaurant! The Old Heidelberg Deli is the place to get authentic Bavarian food without traveling to Europe. The sandwiches are incredible and the mats are perfect. Theres also a good selection of German beer, chocolates and other snacks. The deli has seats available for dining in. Definitely check this place out. You wont be disappointed!

So glad I found this deli! A friend told me about Old Heidelberg Deli and its my go-to spot for German favorites like brats, sausages and potato salad. Homemade bratwurst and deli food like this is easy to find where I grew up in Wisconsin, but I never expected to find it in south FL - especially this good. Delicious!

I love this Deli! Their pretzels are delicious and the sausages are the best! They constantly make different kinds of homemade sausages my fav. is the Garlic Kielbasa! I often go during my lunch hour and they always have great lunch specials- I always go for the Schnitzel sandwiches.

BEST GERMAN DELI in the area! Love how it is a deli and a small store where i can purchase German goods and order meats for my family BBQ. Everyone is nice and friendly ... this is authentic german food! Try the sauerkraut .. it is to die for!

Dont go there if you want authentic German food, they sell German labeled chocolate from POLAND that might be fake and absolutely doesnt taste anything like the original! (Kinder schokolade) also the sausage is far from it.

Every time Im cooking out I stop by for some home made Keilbasa and Bratwurst. The best in town by far. Also love the beef sticks with some cheese as an app. great service and great price. I love the Old Heidelberg Deli!!

Hidden gem! We were very happy that we stopped by this deli. We ate chicken schnitzel, kielbasa sausage sandwich with sauerkraut, German potato salad and all tasted homemade food and yummy. I would definitely go back...

This Deli is a true hidden gem in Ft Lauderdale - been coming here for years, they make their own sausages - all different kinds and the brats are unbelievable. awesome selection of German beers!
