Although its next to the worst eye-sore of a parking lot for an Ace Hardware, the moment you step inside you leave Kansas. The atmosphere of this place is lively and warm. The rusty bikes and amazing local artwork that sit on the walls enhance the surroundings and the employees are completely friendly and affable. Their house coffee is fresh and rich, and their white mocha is creamy and delicious. This is the perfect place to take a friendly, day-time date, to study, or to even just sit down and treat yourself to a bagel or sandwich. I am a regular here, and after trying this place out, you will be too.

I enjoy having coffe and goodies from Gear up, but when Summer is working she over charges people for thing. I have been in there to get the same breakfast sandwich several time and only charged 4.50, but when she is working she charges 5.00 for it I asked why she told me that she had to charge .50 for a slice of tomato. I looked at the menu again and there is nothing that states there is a .50 charge for vegs. No one else that works that charges that. I do not let her make my coffee at all she always messes it up and tast horable with no flavor.

Stopped by and they had just closed. The owner saw us outside and invited us in, saying that he liked our Corvette. He made us the most beautiful drinks ever, obviously taking great pride in his work, and acted as if we were long lost friends. I live in Salem, but just found my new favorite coffee shop. Well worth the drive!!!!!!!

Gear Up offers a good atmosphere but I have been noticing that more and more often their baked goods are from Coscto. I understand the temptation and convenience of going this route but for local coffee shops to compete with star bucks, they have to do what the chains cant... use their own recipes and deliver a unique flavor.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Dan gave us directions to the Farmers Market, since we are new to the area. We went to the market and returned to the coffee house to have cold water extract coffees in a warm, cozy environment. We will make this a regular stop on Saturday mornings!

Best coffee Ive had in my life. I know the staff like family and theyre some of the nicest people youll ever meet. Plus their baked goods are great. Over all, great place to eat, study, hangout or to just grab your drink and go.

We went here for coffee before the eclipse. It was packed, but calm and efficient. Also opened their bathroom for clients, and parking lot to view the event. Yummy coffee, cold brewed coffee in growlers if you like.

This is my all-time favorite coffee shop - has been for 10 years now! The espresso is excellent, and the baked goods and lunches are good, too! If youre a coffee person, this is the place for you!
