Everything was so bland, I had enchiladas with red sauce. The sauce tasted like tomato sauce from a can. The beans tasted like they were cooked from a bag, which is fine, but no seasonings at all. Neither the pinto beans or black beans had flavor. There was a leaf in my cheese enchilada?? How does that even happen? First I thought bay leaf? But it definitely didnt smell or taste like a bay leaf, and if it was a bay leaf at least that would have provided some flavor. My husband had fajitas, shrimp and chicken, no flavor in them either. We waited 45 minutes after we ordered to receive our food, ate less than half of it before asking for our bill and no one asked if we enjoyed the meal or anything. I finally told the cashier how dissatisfied we were and she said oh Im sorry, turned around and charged my card promptly before answering the phone and ignoring me the rest of the time. Definitely dont be back!!

Its very rare that I can eat out. Ive had good experiences and bad experiences. Ive never felt the urge to complain. Ive been to Mi Pueblo 3x before this visit and 2 out of those 3 experiences were awesome and the 1 not so great wasnt worth a complaint it was so minor. The only issue was the asada was over cooked. Like it was today. Unfortunately there was much more wrong this time. I ordered an asada burrito, I received an enchilada. I ordered a chicken chimmy, I received pork. The worst part is the food container sliced my thumb open when I lifted it. I gave 2 stars because out of 4 experiences..2 have been really good. I dont think Ill go back to, its too hit and miss.

Excellent, mom-and-pop, authentic Mexican restaurant. Their seating is very limited, and due to their popularity, it often seems crowded in there. We tend to order our food to go, which works out well for us. I often get the veggie burrito, which comes with beans and rice. The veggies are always hearty chunks and taste very fresh. All the food is flavorful without being over-sauced, salted, or spiced. The staff is also very nice. This is the best Mexican restaurant we have found since moving from Arizona. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone; not only do they have great food, but its nice to support a local business like this.

The food and service are awesome. I like how small the place is and how relatively unknown it is. It is in my opinion the best and most authentic mexican restaurant in Portland, OR. The only downside is the lighting needs to be dropped closer to the tables and dimmed. *The TV is distracting and could also probably be replaced by some authentic music. I fear those changes will make this place too popular. I like my tasty secret restaurant. UPDATE: 8/19/2011 The TV hasnt been on the last few times I have gone and they had authentic music playing. The fluorescent lighting was still blazing though.

Mi Pueblo is a little gem of Clackamas. Just off of 82nd and King Road, its hidden and unassuming, with an attached Mexican food mart. The restaurant is a bit small, with only a handful of tables. But Ive never seen it busy enough for it to be a problem. They dont have a lot of staff, which is the only reason I rate their service lower, since sometimes the wait can be a little longer. But the food is fantastic. Some of the best enchiladas you can get this side of the continent. Friendly, quiet, and cheap. What more could you ask for?

The food here was pretty good, but, the service was pretty terrible. Our meal started with what seemed like a new waitress and she was awesome and attentive. Then we got our actual waitress and she was the worst. I did not get to put in my order until about 30 mins into the experience and did not get food until the hour fifteen mark. The food would have been good enough to bring me back in, but, 2 hours is not my favorite amount of time to spend at a meal and I will not return for a while or get take out.

I wanted to try this place for years but never attempted. It probably was because it does not look like your "typical" restaurant and its location, not very appealing. I convinced my family to go.It is a very small space with maybe 7 small tables/booths.It was a tight fit for the four of us. I decided to stray from my norm-enchiladas and went with polo a la crema. WOW!!!! Delicious!! I was really impressed with the flavors of this dish. Service was excellent! What a great find!

Went there this past Saturday night (3/4/17) at about 5:30pm. We ordered Fish Tacos & Chicken Fajita. Before our meal arrived we were served chips with salsa, and two Margaritas. We went home, and about 1 hour later, we were both feeling absolutely sick (nausea, abdominal tenseness, diarrhea, vomiting later that night, etc...). Not certain if it was the salsa or margherita....but somehow we were infected with food poisoning. Lasted about 2 days. Would not recommend.

Great Mexican Restaurant in Portland Or, Maida the main waitress is the best waitress I have ever seen. She always is asking if we need anything, and goes above & beyond our expectations. I love the nachos with Carne Asada, they are awesome. Also the Bacon wrapped prawns, are so delicious this comes with cheese melted on the rice & beans, and tortillias. I reccomend this restaurant to any body that loves the best of Mexican food, and excellent service.

Love this place! My husband and I crave it constantly. Our favorites are the egg and chorizo breakfast burrito, the fajita burrito, or just tacos. Their tacos are just meat and onions and cilantro. I actually hate cilantro so I always ask them to hold it, but I love love love their tacos. The fajitas for 2 is kinda fun to try at least once! Not our favorite, but pretty much everything is delicious anyway :) :)

This is a great Mexican restaurant. I prefer Mexican food that is more traditional - the opposite of Taco Bell. Mi Pueblo is excellent. I wish the place had more seating, but it is worth waiting for. I rate restaurants using the "Three C Index": 0-9 for cost; 0-9 for quality; 0-9 for quantity. Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant rates 6, 8, 7 with a total of 21. That is a very good index.

This place is awesome. Im inclined to believe that the food here is authentic - as everyone in the building was speaking Spanish. Im only 7% fluent in Spanish (thanks Duolingo!) but Im pretty sure everyone was just talking about how epic their breakfast burritos were. I recommend the bacon breakfast burrito - but have them add grilled onions and peppers. What the!

Went in around 2pm, no wait at that time. Dining area is very small, but they do offer take out. Food was fantastic! Ordered Enchiladas De Espinaca and a red burrito plate. White sauce on enchiladas is sooo good. Rice was moist and beans were great, topped with cheese. Had a bit of my daughters burrito, the meat was moist and full of flavor. Will be back for sure!

DELICIOSO! We went with a group of 8 (this place is always busy because its delicious... make a reservation!) We had a pork chop, spare ribs, rib eye, ahi tacos, normal fish tacos, etc... EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! I would not normally a pork chop or ribeye at a mexican restaurant... but dont miss out on these!
