I never go and write reviews for myself, this is so that people dont go there and are disappointing and surprised with the lack of service. First time I went in with my Mom, and first thing we heard in line was profanity shouting from the food prep area. We then ordered 2 blizzards from an employee that didnt know how to solve the problem of filling the blizzards with fudge. Once we received the blizzards, mine was less full than expected, but that wasnt a big enough problem. When I got home at about 9:45 (too late to return my blizzard) I realized after about 4 bites that a topping I asked to remove, was not removed, and that there was not very much of the topping I asked extra for. My Mom asked for mint flavor and when she was handed the blizzard, there was the green mint flavor that looked like dye, squirted on top barely mixed in. When I took my blizzard back the next day I told the cash register what happened and that I would like my blizzard remade. She was polite and said she would take care of it, and when I went to tell her that there was another topping (which I forgot to tell her at the register) I heard and saw her say some rude things about how and why I kept the blizzard for a day. I have worked in fast food before, and never saw anyone act this way so I am surprised that this happens. Would do less than 1 star if I could, unfortunately.

we had high hopes for the new restaurant. It looks great but staff need more training. It was our go to spot for dessert, but we are never offered lids in the to go line & our last doggy dish was so tiny. Disappointed pup! The last two times we have ordered burgers, the buns have been soggy or stale with cold fried and the onion rings have been burnt the last few times as well. We gave it one last shot last night, and the extra m&ms were not added to the first blizzard. And the second one was not mixed. Id recommend having to go lids be something the staff ask for. and to train staff on how long food can sit and still be okay to serve. Love supporting the local dq and will try again in a few months!

Would have given a five star, but it was disgusting due to the guy that was handing out all the food that was touching the food with his barehands, and I watched him open the outside door multiple times and touch the counter tops, and to top it off I watched him walk in the back blowing his nose. It sucks to see a brand new place look so bad due to a worker that cant be clean with other peoples food. Also another thing I noticed because I couldnt avoid it was they were telling jokes about divorces and other things nobody cared to hear. I probably wont ever go there again because of my first experience.

My family and I have been visiting this DQ for about 5 years. The staff (always very young) seems to turn over quickly. Last night was the absolute worst case of crappy service. Pricilla gave us a dead eyed stare as we walked in, lifted her top lip in a snarl but didn’t say a word to us. As ordered she sullenly pushed register buttons and didn’t respond except to sigh heavily and ask “What size?” and the service degraded from there. Save the aggravation…turn right on the 99 and go to Gem 100, We will from now on.

o stars ! We recently stopped at the Newberg DQ on our way home from the coast. The order included 1 order of onion rings 1 order of french fries 1 burger w/o ketchup and 1 regular burger. As I drove away my friend and her 13 yr. old granddaughter opened there burgers to insure they had the one each had ordered.To our surprise one burger contained a piece of green plastic approx. three eights of an inch square. The other burger had what appeared to be about a 1 inch square off the corner of a clear plastic bag in it.

We gave them two chances since they reopened and they failed both times. The first time my friend ordered a dilly bar. It was a relatively cool day and the dilly bar was so melted when she got it she could barely eat it before it melted all over her. The second time we went we ordered one blizzard and a dilly bar. The blizzard was the wrong flavor and the dilly bar was a little harder this time but the chocolate was all broken so upon opening the package, the chocolate went everywhere. This ones off the list.

We were excited to go and support the new local DQ. Unfortunately, it is unorganized chaos. Employees were in abundance however some of the employees were eating/ drinking in the food prep area, stating they would help others waiting in line if they werent on their break and appeared to have no manager giving direction to make the operation run smoothly. The cars backed up outside and inside the lack of awareness was disappointing. The new location is very nice but the experience was lack luster.

Recently had a dispute about a order; I did file a complaint and did receive a call from the owner who discussed the challenges of operating a DQ and also the steps that his management has taken over the last year to work to resolve various complaints and control quality at this location. Good conversation, and Ill be putting the store to test at some point in the future to see how things turn out. tl;dr 1st review was 1 star, bumped up to 3 star and will review again.

Stopped in for lunch. Service was good but the pulled pork sandwich wasnt up to par. They were close but they didnt actually pull the pork s of it was biting into big chunks of pork that had no sauce in them so it didnt take as good as it could have the pulled pork also had a lot of fat in it. If they would fully shred the pork and pull out the big chunks of fat it would be great.

This is the second time i have been treated like i was a bother. Instead of a customer. Your swing shift crew needs to be retrained on how to treat people or be replaced. I am in my 50s. i have been coming to this Dairy Queen since i was a little girl. I would hate to have to find a new place to take all my Grand kids and there friends.

Terrible service, walked in and it took 5 minutes to even be noticed, then the guy working didnt even say hi, no eye contact either... Hot dog I ordered for my son seemed dis-colored and took forever to get, Shake was thin .. I miss the old dq that used to be here. Go to gem 100 instead of this depressing hell hole

I would have loved to give you a five star review but there a reason why i didnt. when i have order a blizzard from there to go they get and when they turn it upside down they leave the lid on and its about half a second it turned over. other then that its great

Terrific staff who were not only concerned with my family but with the welfare of one another as well. A real sense of warm community. If they get flustered or frustrated give them a break. It is a stressful thing to try to please everyone all of the time.
