My first visit, likely not my last, but not my first choice. I would say that pizzario is just okay in the big scheme of things but great for the hillsboro area (non-existent competition). My party ordered a few different types of pizza and I personally found that the outside of the crust was crispy with the evidence of the leopard spotting/char on the bottom from a wood fired pizza. However, the inside of the crust was gummy towards the center and the outside crust lacked spring (flat/dense) and did not have the slight chew to lIke it should imo. The dough was flavorless and tasted like cooked dough that had not properly been fermented. The toppings and sauce are okay (anyone can do that) but the dough definitely needs some work. I do have high hopes for this place because they have the wood fired oven as long as the dough improves and or remains consistent. I am a local and I will hopefully post again soon with better news as I really dislike driving to the outer limits and really want this place to be great.

This place is a bit pricey for a downtown pizza spot in Hillsboro, but hey, what do you expect? The prices will be higher than your normal value places and there is no delivery, so all of the traffic comes from visits to the restaurant. Its a small, but intimate spot that has little amount of seating. Its not necessarily crammed though. We went on a Friday evening and it wasnt so packed to the point of the seating being too close to one another. There was outside seating too which is always nice. Live music even. We got the teriyaki chicken pizza, which was a lot like BBQ, but with pineapple and teriyaki sauce. It was definitely good and different from a lot of what were used to. Try it out. Taste for yourself.

Wonderful wood fired, hand crafted pizzas with high quality local ingredients by people who have already become a part of the local business community in downtown Hillsboro. I really like that they also have multiple vegetarian options since my wife is vegetarian. Friendly people with good food, local music, open mic nights and all at a reasonable price for such high quality pizza. Pizzario is a fantastic addition to the Hillsboro Main Street revitalization, helping breath life back into our community.

Liked this place. Pizza was good, and not as expensive as you might guess from the restaurants appearance. Server was very friendly. Only thing I didnt like was the very strong smell of cleaning products. Almost walked out because I didnt want to eat in that smell. Also it was freezing in there. Nevertheless Ill go back because that might have been a one-time thing.

Nice addition to Hillsboro Main St. Great food! The menu is simple but definitely sufficient. I followed my pizza up with a great dessert. Not your everyday pizza place. Prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere and staff made me feel like I was "out on the town". Ive recommended it to friends and made a couple return visits. Consistently Great!

Weve been here a few times and eaten here once. We come mostly for the nightly live music and a beer or two. The pizza is delicious. We tried four kinds the time we chose to eat here and will definitely be back when we want to eat pizza. The atmosphere is lively and the prices are nice. The staff is lovely as well!

Excelent service, delicious food and a great drink menue. Offers a good wine and beer selection as well as cocktails and a full bar. If you want a seat after the daily live music starts you should probably make a reservation, but we arrived 15 minutes before and there was plenty of seats.

WAY over priced for super simple food. Spent over $70 for 2 small pizzas, salad and drinks. I am walking away still hungry. Not to mention the waitress getting yelled at by the chef for messing up her orders cause she is too busy chatting and eating on the floor.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. The pizza was great, and I love that they have a full bar! It was really tasty and the wood fire oven is beautiful. $16 seems a little high for a 12" pizza though - thats the only reason this isnt a 5-star review.

Found this place when we were looking for a home in Hillsboro. Glad that we did and happier still that its now walking distance. Quality, flavorful pizza, big salads, good prices, live music, and some of the friendliest staff in town.
