I had high hopes, a few people had recommended it. Ive spent some quality time on a few of the islands and had the privilege to enjoy some amazing food, home cooked and out. To start, the service was poor. Waited at an empty counter for her to notice someone had come in and then she was unfriendly, at best. Im fine with some wait time, but at least crack a smile. Some serious missing spirit. I made my order and the food came out quick enough. Got the food home and enjoyed nothing but disappointment. Kalua pig paired with cabbage that somehow had more flavor than the pork and a side of mac salad that was watery and bland. The huli-huli chicken at least tasted of something but was so overcooked it didnt matter. At least the rice was cooked fine. Wont be back, cant recommend.

In a word disappointing. I love Hawaiian food and have tried it in multiple places and was really excited to find it here close to where I now live. Sadly the portions maybe large but a large amount of low quality food does not make for a deal. I tried the pineapple chicken and a sample of the Pulled pork Kalu. The chicken was over battered and covered in a sauce that I would call bland at Best. The Pope park was even worse the sample that I was given was mostly cabbage and what little pork was there was extremely salty. I hope the people that are running this place will take a hard look at the quality of their work-and fix what seems to be going wrong.

Came upon this restaurant since it had the same name as one in Beaverton. This is way better and the beaverton location has changed to a Chinese restaurant. Well, we tried it out and could not believe our tastebuds when we chomped into our chicken teriyaki meals. The chicken is not breast meat and has a few bits of fatty chunks, but the sauce and mac that go with it are delicious. The building itself is kind of crummy, but dont let the ambiance sway your decision to eat here. Also a plus....the staff is friendly. Well worth it!!!

I used to love this place and ate there frequently, I loved the food until we ate in and just happened to see something crawling on my Styrofoam food plate it was a baby roach and I looked around and saw more, also went to the restroom and turned on the light and roaches were everywhere coming out of the walls, just seeing that one roach made me feel sick and I couldnt eat my food after that. Im very disappointed and cant eat there again after that. I was an almost daily customer

My entire family of over 50 people LOVE this place. It has the best food EVER and is priced so reasonable. My family loves when I throw a Hawaiian party because they know they are getting Hawaiian Grill. The parking could be better and the inside smells llike smoke most of the time...but the service is awesome, food is yummy and the price is right!! Would totally recommend this place for casual dining, catering for parties or just about anything....LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Aw hell no!!!! Wth is this crap?! Cashier/cook looked and acted like he wanted to shoot himself! Pretty rude. He pretty much tossed me my plate! I could have burnt my chicken and overcooked my beef at home! Only came here cuz our usual hawaiian food spot was closed, Hawaiian Kine BBQ! NEVER AGAIN! go to Hawaiian Kine BBQ if u want BOMB grinds!!!

Food poisoning twice from two visits. Both visits were 8 months a part. This place is sooo god awful. 99% of the menu is microwaved and the 1% that isnt is the Mac salad. The chicken I had tasted like it was sitting under a hot lamp, refrigerated and then microwaved all over the span of a week. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT AN EDIBLE MEAL.

This is my favorite Hawaiian grill this side of the Columbia River. Good price, good portion, good food. If youre really hungry get one of the combos. The mac is a little bland but if you dont eat it you still get plenty to eat. - 1 star for the mac, to be fair. Everything else I have tried is 5 stars.

Quick service, cheap prices, great portions. They serve their food only in to-go boxes, whether you eat there or not. I dont feel like Im going to die eating the food so the quality is still a nice middle ground, but still very simple. Simple tastes, but yummy.
