Would garner 4 stars but it really depends on who is working. Ive gotten excellent food and Ive gotten the same dishes but felt spurned. The Mac and cheese without meat is usually good - the bacon is only good pre evening. Awesome whiskey selection but not much beer. Get the whiskey card to get your moneys worth. Bartenders are usually really good, but the younger guy can be "heart on sleeve" which is annoying for a tender of any kind.

I ordered a burger, medium w/ no mayo. 40 minutes later - without any interaction with ANY of the many staff - I got a burger with mayo, no onions, and VERY overcooked. Fries were stale and cold. After another 10 minutes the waitress finally showed up, I told her the problems; they took the (now cold) burger and just scraped the mayo off. Service was terrible. Food was terrible.

The Mac n Cheese. Anyone who travels knows how hard it is to find great mac n cheese. They also have a great drink selection being paired with Clouds right next door they seem to operate in tandem. Ive always enjoyed coming down here to grab a booth and hang out with friends. The only disappointment is how early it closes.

We stopped in on a hot afternoon to try their whiskey snocone, which is as great as it sounds. The mixture of Old Crow, lemon, and honey over ice was perfect. The bartender was friendly, and service was prompt. The current tap list looked diverse and interesting.

The daily local specials are always delicious. I would call the staff more mixologists than bartenders and I always recieve great service. Its also nice to grab and go for lunch and the weekly drink specials are very affordable for a college students budget.

The bartender at this establishment was rude. He could ruin any dining or drinking experience. I have never posted a negative comment or review until I met this individual. I would never try to get a drink in this establishment again.

This a cute neighborhood bar that is open late. The late night happy hours and specials are cheap and delicious. The mac and cheese special is fantastic. There is outside seating where you an sit along the waterfront.

Outstanding whisk(e)y collection which you can work your way through for a special discount or something. Late night HH BBQ chicken is on point. Industry nights on Mondays and Thursdays. Good beer selections.

I have always had good experiences at Downward Dog. The only thing I would say is the prices can be a little steep, but they have some great discounts/happy hour times available to help make up for it.

Great drink menu and skilled bartenders. Food is always unique and for a great price. Plan on doing cocktails there before dinner at Cloud 9 for my wedding rehearsal. I definitely recommend!

Nice bar on the waterfront. 6 or so rotating taps, cocktails, and a handful of wine selections paired with good food. Neighborhood bar feel, but fancier than a typical dive.
