DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! I rarely give reviews, but I could not wait to get home and spread the word about this incredible place. They dont mess around; fish is their business and nothing else and they do it right. We wanted to sample a little bit of everything so we tried the rockfish tacos, a tuna sandwich, and cod fish and chips. Everything was spot on. They even give you malt vinegar on the side! The portions are HUGE and the prices are the best Ive seen around. On top of that the guys are so friendly and down to earth. You can call ahead from wherever you are too, which is super helpful after a long hike, a day at the beach or a long drive. Great fish and chip joint for takeout. I had the tuna and it was really tasty! Also tried a bite of the cod and it was awesome as well. The tartar sauce was one of the best Ive had in a long time. Slaw was okay. The portion sizes are huge, so you are sure to be satisfied. The guys in here are friendly, but they are focused. Its what helps them get that fresh fish out so fast. They had the sense to leave one flap open on the takeout containters so that everything stayed crisp on the ride home. We were also pleased to get plenty of napkins and malt vinegar! We will be back next time we visit the coast, and maybe we will even take it to the beach to enjoy!

OMG amazing fish and chips. We had the Tuna fish and chips. It was terrific you have to try it!. There is no dinning area so strictly a to go place. But just across the street you can go and park on the the river and watch the boats! Or down the street is Fort Stephens State Park. You can sit on the beach and enjoy your tasty fish and chips! Every bit as good as the Bow Picker in Astoria.

Fresh and expertly prepared fish and chips served up hot with a friendly smile. Good portions and even enough tartar sauce and ketchup packed in the takeaway box. Their shrimp cocktail is enormous and a real bargain. After a day out at Fort Stevens, checking out the Peter Iredale, or climbing around Battery Russell, this is the perfect place to refuel.

Great place. Reasonable prices, quality fish, and the preparation was on point. My favorite part was not needing to ask for more tartar sauce! They give you enough and the sauce full of dill & pickles just like homemade.

Tough dry tuna, no restroom, its a restaurant without a restroom in 2017. One block away is two restaurants with chairs and restrooms and delicous fresh fish along with many other choices.

Go to the bow picker in Astoria. The fishmongers batter is wet and soggy. They only had one option when visited, cod. Umm catfish of the sea. The place is small, hot and felt dirty.
