I was looking to try a new coffee place, due to our favorite place grey owl being closed, and we stumbled upon this place. The moment we got there it seemed like a very hipster like place; with an assortment of different styled furniture/ various pieces of decor that made the place very attractive for one to study. The place itself, in terms of space is great; however, the appeal ended when we received our drinks. The order was very simple including one black coffee and a vanilla latte. We received our drinks approximately 10 minutes after ordering which was fine, thinking they would be fresh for that amount of time spent. However the quality was terrible, the black coffee was Luke warm and the latte tasted as though they mixed hot cocoa with sugar. I usually dont write poor reviews, however when a black coffee cant be made correctly; the world should know. Next time Ill simply make my coffee in a keurig, so at least Ill know that it will be made appropriately. All in all, I wont be returning, the staff is friendly and perhaps the food is descent but I would expect my coffee/ latte to be better than the 7 eleven if Im paying 3 times the price for half the quality. Being that this was our first time there, it could have been a fluke, but something tells me that it wasnt.

New coffee shop in Norman just in time as Hastings Hard Back Cafe closed. They are open from 6am to 10pm or midnight, depending on the day of the week. All tips given via cash or credit card are donated to local charities. They offer weekly discounts to certain groups, varying from Healthcare workers, stay at home parents, teachers, students, etc which is fabulously generous! They offer gluten-free cuisines, vegan cuisines, smoothies, coffee, Daily Menu Specials, baked goods, and now recently a Late Night Menu Special. So yes, they may be a little pricey, but considering all tips will go to support the local charities of Oklahoma, its a feel-good indulgence. Plus, the decor is just epic awesomeness!! I love steampunk and it feels like something out of Alice in Wonderland when I visit. I highly recommend checking this place out, if not just to see the cool decor, enjoy the patio, and taste their delicious coffee and BLT Bowtie Pasta Salad, which is superb!

Coming here, I was excited, I enjoy new places, and I really enjoy coffee shops. This is a great place if you are looking for a spot with room to study. Sadly, that is where the positives end. This place really should not be classified as a coffee shop. It has a overwhelming selection of drinks. So I ordered my coffee, roughly 5-10 minutes later I get my cup delivered. The coffee was barely warm and tasted like some store bought coffee brand. Ive given this place multiple tries but every time it seems the coffee tastes worse. Besides that the decor is all over the place. They tried for an antique eclectic vibe, but it just fails in every way. Like I said if you need a space to chill, or study, there is plenty of room! I really hate to bash a small business but with so many good ones around OKC this place really lowers the bar.

This coffee shop has gone down hill in recent months. The Screen Door used to be my favorite place to study. I love keeping it local and small businesses are my favorite so I hate to give a bad review. I stopped by a couple of weeks ago and ordered an iced vanilla latte. I never received my latte and by the time I realized I had to leave. I went in yesterday and my drink was served in a yellow solo cup. They were also out of vanilla. They were also out of several teas. The owner seems curt at times, like she doesnt enjoy her job. Also the hours are always changing. Facebook says Monday-Saturday 10am-10pm and Sundays 8:30am-10pm. Googles says Monday-Sunday 10am-10pm. Theres a homemade sign on the front door that says Monday-Saturday 10am-10pm and closed on Sunday.

This new coffee shop had terrible food and coffee but fantastic customer service, and atmosphere. My coffee was cold and tasted like it was from the night before, and the second cup they brought me was luke warm. They were so kind in bringing me a free replacement vanilla latte, which was hot but it was watery and didnt taste like the creamy latte I was expecting. My omelet was dry and flavorless and very small with a $7 price tag- I felt I was overpaying. I have high hopes for this new shop! The girls who works there were beyond nice I think its just going to take some additional food and beverage training for this place to earn a spot amongst the Norman foodies.

Hot chocolate was made with water and the 8oz cup was only 80% full; coffee was okay but also only 85% full; there was only powdered creamer available at the coffee bar (and for a local-focused establishment to only have powdered trans fat is a little odd). Food was good but a little pricey. The veggie grits were very tasty, and classy enough that they should perhaps not come in a paper bowl. Again, for a place with emphasis on environmentalism and local fare, why are the "for here" orders served with only disposable utensils and flatware?

This is my secnd visit. I enjoyed the selection of coffee. And the games on the tables and the space. Usually felt crammed at other coffee places. However, the staff at the counter were not very friendly. They seemed annoyed and busy. When they werent. Then if you asked for something on the menu, they would make a snide remark about not having it. Never in an apologetic way. More of a "why would you think we even had that" way. If they could be a little more pleasant the experience would be better.

Atmosphere great, cute and inventive, love that they have organic and local, and try to be environmentally conscious. They have homemade dog treats and lots of great teas and an avocado smoothie I love. I was sorry to see the lack of progressive cruelty free food , did not care for the vegan chili, but the chick pea salad would be amazing if they made the dressing vegan which would be so simple. But I will get my smoothie there and perhaps coffee or tea sometime, nice place to do that.

They charge quite a bit for really sub-par coffee. Went there twice, once the espresso was pretty good and the drip coffee was good, but the second time the espresso was terrible and the drip coffee was drinkable but about on par with mcdonalds. Also the floor arrangement makes it so that youre always kind of crowding into other people and its just about impossible to get to the trash/sugar & stuff table. Both times we were there, there were quite a few loud annoying people as well.

They have a decent coffee. The vibe is very eclectic. This is a great place to go to get work done. The food is good as well. It is lighter, more healthy fare, which goes great with studying or getting work done. I go there when I need to do some writing or photo editing. If you require power for a laptop, you may want to scope out which places are best to sit near an outlet. Also, bring headphones if overhearing conversations distract you.

Awesome place to study but the coffee was terrible. Ive ordered coffee here three times, twice it was room temperature and the next it was the most bitter coffee Ive ever tasted. Very low quality place to get a cup of coffee. So if thats the reason youre going to a COFFEE shop Id try out grey owl, second wind, crimson and whipped cream, or Michelangelos. Tons of room to study though. Thats cool.
