Its pretty pricey ($4.50 for a small caramel latte), and sometimes I feel a bit out of place due to the clientele, but overall it is still my favorite place to get a latte in Norman. It is literally the best caramel latte Ive ever had, and its always consistent. Its delicious. Their from-scratch food is nice too. I have 2 other complaints though. Sometimes the music is on and it is really loud which makes it difficult to hold conversations. Also, when it is very busy you sometimes have to sit at a table with strangers. And sometimes there just flat-out any seating at all. But still... The quality of the coffee makes it all worth it for me.

The coffee and tea are pretty good, but if youre looking for a quiet place to study or work- keep looking. Their quintessential hipster music is played so incredibly loud, it is impossible to think. They are open late- which is the main reason I would go. But after having to listen to a monologue rant they were playing last night that dropped the F-bomb every other word, I will be finding a new place to study. So many people I know have stopped going there in the evenings just because of how loud their music is played. I just dont understand why they play the music so loud when 95% of the customers are studying or reading.

Found my favorite blend of coffee here (Manzano, El Salvador). The food menu is minimal to small bakery items and pastries. The environment is great, although it may get a bit distracting on movie nights. Staff is almost too friendly, as my orders been forgotten more than once as they like to interact with customers at the bar. Dont expect an outlet on Sunday nights as they tend to fill up with OU students whove procrastinated all weekend (speaking from experience). There are several couches available though and Ive never met a person not willing to share a table. Great place overall, and Im there almost every week.

My favorite coffee shop in the whole Oklahoma City/Norman area. The atmosphere is lovely, and one of my favorite things to do there is watch the staff prepare the baked goods for the next day. Its mesmerizing. On top of that, they have a rice milk latte to die for. So much better than the non-dairy alternatives of most mainstream coffee shops! Also, its a perfect place to hang out with friends or spend a leisurely morning. And oh yeah! Try the everything bagel! Its incredible. :)

I LOVE getting my caffeine fix here! Best coffee in Norman hands freaking down. No burned beans here people! Also these guys are looking out and offering up some gluten free treats! YES it is ONLY a brownie and a cookie but Ill take what I can get. I do wish they would expand their g-free options as I do think it just makes them look a tad lazy at this point by only offering up these two sweet treats at this point. I albeit they are the best brownies ever.

Quality joint with a few quibbles. Excellent coffees, teas, baked goods, etc. Be prepared to pay. Somehow this place is more expensive than Starbucks. A coffee beverage & snack is gonna set you back about $10. Environment is very casual chic with a dash of pretentiousness. Lots of hipsters & Norman elite. Some of the employees seem a little too cool for school. They have some delicious coffee & bites but this kind of scene isnt for everyone.

Had a great raspberry scone and latte and the staff is pretty nice but soon after I sat down to study I had to leave because one of the people making food behind the counter must of been using a ton of onions which ended up really irritating my eyes. I wish they wouldnt cook with onions out in the actual cafe since its not rare for people to be sensitive to them. I unfortunately had to leave right after I finished my coffee and scone :/

Very laid back place. Top notch coffee, and the quiche I had was stupid good. Theres plenty of seating and outlets, plus good music for productivity making this a fantastic place to get some work done if thats your jam. The people here are friendly and seem to genuinely care about their customers and all-around quality. If I ever find myself back in OKC, youd better believe Ill be visiting again.

Superb quality coffee!! Seating isnt always available, but I usually only pop in long enough to order coffee. Prices are fair. I will admit I like going to the new place in Norman called, "The Screen Door," because seating is more available. But Gray Owl is still a contender due to their good tasting coffee, even if they lack the variety of syrups to make, lets say an Almond Joy mocha.

Very eclectic place with free WiFi, standard espresso drinks (cappuccino, latte, etc.), and a wide variety of teas (some herbal) than you can order by the cup or the pot. When college is in session, this is a popular study place, so you may end up sharing a table with someone too busy with their laptop to even notice you. So far I havent had a scone, cookie, etc. that didnt please me.

Good coffee and pastries, although their cold brew is variable in quality, sometimes its great sometimes its average. Gray owl has lots of seating available and is a much bigger space than most coffee shops. Ive been there when loud metal music was playing, which made working there distracting. It is also often pretty crowded. I really like gray owl.

The best in Norman. Atmosphere is ridiculously cool. Internet is sufficient. The people who work there are laid back most of the time. The only downsides are how some people tend to take up an entire table to themselves and of course the price for a simple cup of coffee. If you want to feel like a regular and just unravel in this town, just go here.

I wanted to love it, I really did based on my friends reviews. Weirdly hipster which is perfectly fine by me but my coffee was burnt and the staff seemed like they really didnt want me or themselves to be there. Awkward/lack of seating and clearly the music was too loud since everyone there had on headphones. Scone wasnt bad but I wont be back.

Clean, large space with comfortable furniture and local artwork. Coffee taste great, prices include tax and there is plenty of free self-serve water. Plus, WIFI is free and reliable and theres a small library in the back thats good for random inspiration. One of my favorite places to go!

My favorite place to study! The drinks and pastries are always great. The employees are always nice and helpful. My only complaint is parking. Parking can sometimes be difficult to locate in front of Gray Owl but you can always parking in the lot across the street!

I love the environment and bustle of the Grey Owl coffee shop. It is really a great place to enjoy a Saturday morning or afternoon. I would just ask that they have a little bigger coffee portion size my large latte was only about 12 ounces

A lovely atmosphere. There is a variety of loose leaf tea available to buy in bulk. The staff is friendly and most ingredients are locally sourced. I love meeting up with friends there or be on my own to read on the giant sofa.
