I really dont understand the story between El Rancho Grande and El Rancho Nuevo. Some of them used to be Grande now they are Nuevo. Not sure whats going on there. But, I believe it is still a local chain. So we did visit this newer location, and it was pretty decent. Definitely not as much flair and pizzazz as the other one in Liberty Township, but the food was still good. I had the fajitas. Fajitas is not something I typically order, but you usually cant go wrong with the fajitas. Honestly, not really impressed. The first thing I noticed, and believe me I really didnt mind, is that when they brought the fajitas to the table, it didnt have the big Sizzle and Steam Fanfare. Again, I didnt miss it because I dont need that. But it was definitely a sign of a meal to come. I noticed right off the bat when I was eating them, not a lot of seasoning. And it wasnt impressive looking at all. No tomatoes only a few onions maybe a green pepper or two. Most of it were very small bits of grilled steak. Dont get me wrong, the steak was decent but it just wasnt your usual fajitas presentation. The guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, pico de gallo that came with it were all good. I opted for the corn tortillas. It was good but unimpressive. Would I go back? Yes, I believe I would. I rarely get the fajitas. I was in the mood for something other than what I usually get so thats what I went for. They are usually a safe bet at a Mexican place. Unfortunately, this particular night, they just didnt do it for me. I wouldnt hold it against this place just because I had a bad one off. There were for adults at our table and everybody else seemed happy with their meals. Though, I did find it odd that on a Monday night we were one of two or three tables in the restaurant during dinner time. If you go to one of the other local places around that time, youd see at least 75% or more full.

Service is excellent. Always busy but never a long wait for a table. Servers are friendly and attentive. Refills are a task for the one waiting on my husband but never an issue here. Food is served quickly and always steaming hot. The amount of food is more than enough and there are so many options. Many families enjoy dinner while we are there. They do have patio seating and a bar.

Hi, Im from North American Van Lines, University, probably about a quarter of a mile down the street, from this place, I have to say this is one of my favorite restaurants to come too when Im in Cincinnat, i the staff is friendly really nice place to have a beer watch TV and eat, some good Mexican food.. And the price is very reasonable you get a lot for your money...

Service here was excellent and the place is very nice..one of nicest restrooms Ive ever seen complete with mouthwash and cups! Food was so so..they did have street tacos which I love..but meat in them. (Chicken) was dry and flavorless. The corn tortilla was a little greasy. Prices are comparable to other restaurants of same genre.

Food hands down was some of the best authentic Mexican food I have ever had... I travel all over the US and this By far is one of the best!!! Service is amazing!!! Chips and drinks were refilled before halfway empty, amazing!!!! Do yourself a favor and check it out you wont be sorry!!!

The waiters were very nice and helped us out when we came in with a large group. Though we did call ahead and made sure we could be seated quickly. They really made sure they took care of us well. Good place to come.

We ended up at this location by mistake as we usually go to the one closer to Mellow Mushroom which has amazing food and service but this location was jus t as wonderful. The food is wonderful and service us great.
