Feels really relaxed here. I love the decor and the shop is very well-kept and clean. Decor/Atmosphere: There are plenty of small tables and counters as well as numerous electrical outlets, making it a great place to bunker down for studying or getting work done. A lot of the decorations stood out to me as unique (such as a ceiling light fixture using vintage style light bulbs with orange filaments) and make the place interesting to be in. There are some very comfortable sofa chairs that are terrific for reading while sipping coffee. There is also a fireplace with a coffee table in front of it which houses various board games, making it a great spot to hang out and play some games with friends. Windows run practically along half the entire length of the shop, allowing lots of natural light to come in and make the place feel more spacious. The counters/tables always seem quite clean to me. Staff: In my experience, the staff has always been very welcoming each time Ive come in and is consistently polite and accommodating. I always ask what they recommend for my drink and I like how they are on-key with what their customers like and what the strong points are of their various drinks. Food: I havent had any actual food (bakery items, etc) there yet, so I speak for that. As for coffee, Ive had the Frozen Chai and Frozen Mocha, both of which were much better than the Starbucks versions (in my opinion.) The frozen drinks seem to come in plastic cups with lids like Starbucks ones. Im not sure how hot drinks come (summer has been hot enough as it is) but I hope that they would come in a mug (for dining in) in classic home-style coffee shop format. Location: The shop could potentially be a wee bit crowded if a bunch of people suddenly showed up at once (say 10+, maybe) and the dedicated parking spaces reflect that, but the nice part is that there is plenty of parking across the streets of the corner that the Corner Cup is located at. In addition, Handles Ice Cream is right across the street (as well as Sweet Frog and other great food shops), which can be a great follow-up (or warm-up) to a cup of coffee and some evening relaxation.

Staff and coffee are amazing and top notch. I like how this place makes a big push to buy local with the sign that greets me as I walk in that states ,"Buying local keeps your hard earned dollars in your local community." If it werent for that helpful reminder I would be starting every morning by driving two hours away to a non-local coffee shop. Having been a lifelong resident of the area, I am glad to see that my money stays in the community. Granted, Northeast Ohio doesnt have many dairy farms, coffee plantations, soy farms, almond milk distilleries, tea plantations, or paper cup factories but I get the cheap thrill of thinking my money stays more local than if I spent it at Starbucks. Before I found out about Corner Cup, I would buy my coffee at Starbucks and would be so upset that I wasnt buying from a local company. And to really grind my gears, Starbucks would then take the hard earned money I gave them and put it towards employee health insurance, employee retirement plans, employee tuition reimbursement, free college tuition for eligible employees, and even use that same money to pay their employees above average salaries. Also, I have no idea where these Starbucks employees come from, for all I know, they are being shipped in from Indiana and are taking my local money from my community and using it to buy tickets to watch the Indianapolis Colts; all I know for sure is that they cant be local. It wouldnt make sense for a large multinational corporation like Starbucks to have local employees that contribute to the local economy, at least according to the sign at Corner Cup.

Cute place, a nice local addition to the Stow area. I first heard of Coffee Cup from friends & on social media; its been getting a lot of buzz in the community, which I gather is because the owner is a well-connected local who has been able to drum up support (& customers!) I was impressed with all the word-of-mouth I heard about this place, which seems unusual for 2015. The menu isnt necessarily anything to write home about - youre not going to find the best coffee or pastries of your life here - but everything seems to be done fairly well, & I second a previous reviewers support for the vanilla latte, which is sweet but not overly so. My mom likes their Italian sodas as an alternative to caffeine. prices are standard & competitive with other local coffeeshops. The decor is on its way, but could be, in my opinion, a little bit more done-up. Its cute but still feels a bit like the place is located in a strip mall (which it is, but wouldnt we all like to forget?) Perhaps this will come in time. For now, Im sure theyre focused on getting the place off the ground! Theres ample seating, though not as many electrical outlets as Id like, & everythings got a cozy local feel. Staff is friendly & seems legitimately happy to be serving their customers. In other words: definitely worth checking out. Welcome to the area, Corner Cup!

Visited for the first time today. Great place! Very good coffee (every non-dairy alternatives you can imagine!), impressive decor, immaculate, and I met the owner who was super nice and welcoming. Free wifi, comfortable furniture...lots of windows for natural light. Nice background music but not too loud (important if you need to go there to get some work done or even relax). I highly recommend this place and Ill definitely go back!

Go here regularly and know most of the staff. Heather (the owner) is an outgoing woman, as well as the amazing people who make the amazing coffee! Recommend this wonderful place full of cool ideas and designs to anyone who likes coffee and a peaceful atmosphere :)

I like this place but today I got the breakfast sandwich with a veggie patty and it was just a black bean burger and uncooked egg and the iced coffee was WAY too strong and had to throw both away. Pretty disappointing. It is decently priced though.

Wide variety of seating, spacious, charming, clean- this place is so much better than I thought it would be. Its better than Gasperi hands down. Dont let the location trick you into thinking its a dark hole in the wall. Ill definitely be back.

Great place to work/read while enjoying a beverage. They advertise free wifi but you probably have to ask for the password. Ill try that next time. Edit: the wifi password is posted on a small balckboard on the wall.

Great service. Great menu options. Kind people. Skip those huge international chains and try something local. You may never go anywhere else...
