*****PICKERINGTON/ REYNOLDSBURG********it truly was.... we went and ordered a 2 people eat for 24.99 and they could manage to grill a steak at a temperature of Medium rare. and the sirloin was tougher than my leather shoes(not joking at all because the steak knives would not cut through it) and they thought it would be a great idea to remove the steak hike up the cost of the rest of the HORRIBLE meal and end up charging us more than if we would have been charged. The stupid manager of the so called restaurant decided to prance over to our table like she was going to get away with it. needless to say she said she agreed with us that it didnt make sense. Stupid broad finally decided that she had better comp the horrible meal. by the way they also fry the "kettle chips" in with the doughnuts so you get a soggy sweet but not good flaccid potato round, the salad wasnt too bad except i had one huge leaf about 3/4 the size of my salad bowl that tasted really dirty. There were 2 things that were exceptable if not good: the desert pear tea and our waiter. the district/regional manager will be getting a call from me. I will never ever step foot in another smoky bones again. I remeber them being horrible on 161 and easton. would like to say -10 for all of the catagories. BUYER BEWARE!!! I also felt sick after taking a couple of bites of the food i did actually get. Dont eat here, sick patron Matt G.

I took the family here last night. At first glance of the menu I was excited. It was our first time eating at a smokey bones and since Dardin owns it I thought it must be good. Well the apps didnt look anything like the menu pics. The pretzels were greenish, the sampler was done in old oil which made everything pale brown, and the sauces were runny and appeared to have sat in the window for too long causing weird bubbling. I ordered the santefe burger which was so greesy I had to eat what I could stomach with a fork. Thankfully after I cleaned the barbeque sauce jars, and scraped the bland tasteless version of guacamole off, I was able to drench the greesy bites in some bbq sauce which made it more palatable. My wifes Salmon was supposed to have some stock reduction on it but the watery sauce was made with chicken stock. Chicken stock on Salmon? The highlight was the ribs. We ordered baby back full rack for my kids to share and it was pretty good. The ice cream we ordered for deserts had ice chuncks in it from freezing and thawing. Overall very dissapointed. It is obvious that both the front and back of the house management is suffering from a serious case of dont give a crap. If you read my other reviews you will see that Im not that hard to please. Will likely never return...

We got to the Smokey Bone at 7:30 p.m. and did not get done until 11 oclock one waiter for 25 people bad service and orders were mixed up all the orders they gave us half price on pretty much everything I will not be going back but the food was okay thats about it. Want to say that waiter did his best...but the manager should have recognized that the party was to big for one waiter to handle. When it was bought to the managers attention, manager would not own up to it was his responsibility to keep things running smooth and keep the customer s happy and manager did recruited help the female waitresses were rude and nasty. One waitress bought out two pictures of water and said here take that and place on the table..and I dont know why but it was the two black waitresses that were extra rude and nasty....I need they did realize that the customer s are the reason they have jobs...

Weve eat (ate) here every now and again and enjoyed the food. The service is why we really havent gone more often, and wont go again. It wasnt usually bad service, just not particularly good. However, we visited the restaurant a couple weeks ago with a friend from out of town. After waiting 10 minutes to be seated (no complaints) we waited at our table for another 10, then another 10, and no service ever stopped by. When we asked one person clearing a table why we werent being served, he told us that he didnt know, that wasnt a server. We were dressed well, we were joking around and being pleasant. There was no reason other than poor service to blame. On the way out we spoke to the woman who seated us and she was shocked and offered to help, but by that time the bridge had been burned. We found great service down the road at BW3s (Buffalo Wild Wings).

Christmas Eve will be my last visit to Smokey Bones. I ordered a lot of food for a Christmas Eve party with my family. I ordered the food at 1:10 pm for a pick up at 3:30. I sent my niece to pick it up and they kept her waiting until 4:05. She got here and I opened the food and the large order of wings were so burnt they could not be eaten. My niece and sister drove back to Smokey Bones and asked for unburnt wings. They waited 30 minutes and when they opened the containers before they left the wings were burnt again. At this time they asked for my money back and was told "no refunds". At that time my mild mannered sister got loud with the manager. He finally returned my money. Recommend no one goes to Smokey Bones. Service was horrible and the food was horrible.

In the past, service was fair and we tended to go elsewhere. Then we got a coupon in the mail. Came to use it on that trip and had good service. Thats why we came back this time. But, same old thing. Inattentive service, including a guy who appeared to be a manager. Slow to get drinks. No plates came with the food that needed separate plates (some sort of grill). The food on the grill wasnt warm until the coals kicked in when the food was half gone. Flavor was good, just not hot. They dress the girls in tops like Hooters now too. Dont expect we will try them again. One good experience out of four or five tries in a two year span. Not enough to get my money anymore.

The beer was great and service was okay. Things were going well until the food arrived. $2 side dish upgrade to get two tiny fried green tomatoes. Should have stuck with the french fries. My burger was big but lacked any flavor in a big way. Im not picky but I expect to have salt and pepper on a $12 burger. My wife ordered the beef brisket but they ran out. We asked if they would substitute ribs for the brisket and they declined. Pretty poor experience for first time customers. There are so many places to get a good beer that this place dropped off my list completely. My advice, save your money and go to a place that serves better food for much cheaper.

The server was excellent but the food was terrible. I ordered the half bbq chicken and it was dry. I went there to get the brisket philly cheese steak sandwich but they dont serve brisket until 4. I spoke with the manager and explained my situation about wanting the brisket. She took the chicken meal that I did not eat off the meal. She had the brisket sandwich prepared for me and yes I was charged for it. When she stated they could get the brisket sandwich since it was after 4 at that time I though it was going to be a courtesy sandwich but it was not. The sandwich is really not that good also. Smokey Bones get a thumbs down
