Taps are ALWAYS dry!, especially if you like IPAs. I was there 7 times in 2 months and they had an IPA on-tap only once - once! Freaking ridiculous they even call themselves a taproom. Location is good, staff is pleasant, but its not worth stopping in unless you like that brown ale which is the only tap they seem to be able to keep flowing. Boojum up the street always has a nice selection with multiple IPAs (& more) to choose from. And Boojums bartenders are hot! ... Frog Level seems to have the oposite going in that department.

Nice atmosphere, beer isnt the best. Salamander slam is good beer but the rest are questionable. Make sure you like one first. We had a salamander slam loved it and tried a rye not that good and only offered a half beer in exchange after spending 18 bucks plus 4 in tips. Kinda bs. Bar not even "tended" cuz tender is out back chiefing cigs. Not a big deal to the Monday drinker but needles when you only get a half beer you like for the full price. No wonder the joint is empty.... just saying. Frog level off the list!

This is a must go-to place if you are traveling or a tourist. No other place in the area has a better atmosphere. The brewery inside is low-key and very friendly. The outside view of the creek is perfect to enjoy the a beer (or two) and live music. If you drive to Asheville to wait in line and fight traffic to go to a "popular" brewery you are wasting your time. Frog Level is what local micro-breweries should all aspire to be.

Solid microbrewery. A handful of good brews on tap at any given time. Excellent outdoor space with new tables by the creek (previously they had an assortment of camp chairs). The interior space is also quite nice preserving most of the ancient brick and woodwork of the original building. Would prefer glass pint glasses to the plastic but that isnt a big deal (and maybe has something to do with the proximity to the creek).

The beer was great! The outdoor space is perfect and beautiful. When we came to visit, there was a sweet guy playing music out back! Outstanding. The bartender was rude. We asked questions about the beer and he acted like we bothering him. We told him we were new to town and looking for a bar. He attitude was pretentious and made us feel uncomfortable. We will consider that before coming back.

Some beers were a "miss", but MOST were good. Awesome layout inside and out. Amazing back deck area at the river. But kept getting "dead animal" or sewage smell from river... inside giant jenga, Nintendo wii, shuffleboard, air hockey, and other games! Great place for kids to be entertained for a long time while adults drink! Would go again.

My husband and I love this place!!! Great beer and atmosphere. This place is a real gem, we visited several times and had a blast. They have live music and games; plus the staff was great to talk with. We make a trip to Waynesville/Maggie Valley every year and we cant wait to visit Frog Level Brewing again. It was so much fun!!!!

The view and atmosphere is great. The brown ale was very good, but at the time we came the selection was limited. The other beers we tried we okay. Also we were told they have music certain nights. There is a large deck and sitting area overlooking the creek. Very very noce!

Decent beer and great venue. I dont understand why the guy behind the bar (I wont call him a bartender) did not acknowledge me or get me a beer for more than 10 minutes ... and there were only three people there.

This place is awesome! Totally laid back, good beer, fun games (old school shuffleboard, air hockey) and all set on a beautiful property. Have a cold one and enjoy the view of the creek. Great for dogs.
