The decor was very pleasant and the tables were clean. There is a glass case with all of the deserts displayed. Full bar and plenty of parking. The menu was plain but clear with explanations of what everything is. Service was excellent. The wait staff and bus staff very friendly even though they were busy they seemed to be on top of everything pretty well. I always ask for some detail or two and our waitress got it all correct. I got a kick out of the tiny bells she wore around her ankle. Although in all fairness I dont know if thats a Greek thing or not. Prices seemed reasonable to me, there was a nice mix on the menu from which to choose from soups, salads, sides, gyros, sandwiches, and dinner entrees. Specialties abounded from kabobs and spanakopita to baklava. Opa! The Bathroom was nice, clean, well planed out, and well lit, I think this is important. Food quality was very good, the gyro meat was tender and flavorful. I got the extra large one and that plate was full. The chicken gyro was also excellent. Their version of tzatziki sauce was not the traditional that I would have expected, but it was actually very good. I suspect this change may be due to local tastes. A when in Rome type adjustment. Fries were excellent. Next time I would go for dinner rather than lunch will try something more adventurous. I certainly did not leave hungry. Overall I liked the Greek Star very much and will definitely recommend it and I will go back.

The meal started off very well with a very good greek salad for both me, and my friend (loved their dressing). After that it was all downhill. I ordered the lamb kabob, and my friend had the chicken and rice. I had humus as a side dish which was to say the least was bland. This continued to be the theme for the rest of the meal. The lamb was over cooked (even though I ordered it medium). It was burned to a crisp, extremely dry/chewie, and once again very bland. The rice they claim was seasoned with nutmeg, and cinnamon was almost tasteless. My friend also complained about her chicken being very bland as well as her rice. I ordered a chocolate ball for desert to take home. What they dont tell you is that it is covered in coconut, inside and out. Well that was a good waste of money since I hate coconut. The one bright spot was the service, as our waiter was very pleasant, and helpful about menu questions. If you want bland, dry food or a gyro (kinda hard to mess those up) its probably a good bet. But as far as their "authentic" cuisine its not worth it. That was my first time there, and will be my last.

I love this restaurant, they went under a change in management recently, now they have a patio, beer and wine, fast service, and fast delivery. the restaurant has been redecorated, better customer service. overall it went from an average Mediterranean restaurant to a top-notch restaurant. food quality is still the same which is the best you can find EVER!!.. i can see that theyre doing alot better since every time im there now theyre crazzzzy busy. Prices are amazingly cheap for the food quality and service that we get. Ask for the young boy that works their, hes AWESOME!!!!. ill be back Highly Recommended, They will never disappoint you.

While the food looked and sounded good online, we were greatly dissapointed. First off, I love how you can order it online, but that was the best part of the meal. We were in the mood for greek food and wanted to try something new. I ordered the lamb kabob (cooked medium) with a side salad and baba ghanouge. What I got was 4 small pieces of lamb (overcooked) the salad was drenched in dressing while the tomatoes and cucumbers were oversized blocks, the baba ghanouge was tolerable. Definetly not worth what I paid for it. My wifes meal was also overcooked and left a lot to be desired. Definetly wont be ordering from here again.

my family has been going to this restaurant for the past few years. We live close and the food has always been good. Unfortunately their management is not the best. The prices have increased, I imagine to fund the "greek star" which just opened this past summer. The price of beer is ridiculous - $4.75 for an 11 oz. bottle? They recently had a 50% off your order special for receiving 1,000 likes on Facebook. They didnt inform you though when you ordered that you were receiving 50% less food. Weve definitely soured on this place, its a shame because like i said the food is good.

I like this place a lot. The spicy gyro is excellent. You dont need the jumbo. I dont care how hungry you are, that thing is a giant! Good prices for the gyro and the desserts. I dont think they make their own desserts but they are good. The best Greek fries I have ever had, actually it is just their fries that are good. They put a nice spice on them and they are fried perfectly. Really, you have to have a small portion of them. You wont be disappointed. Locally owned, getting very busy. I would recommend it. Not a high end restaurant at all, but a nice dinner place for sure.

The staff at this Greek Star are very helpful and the food always tastes hot and AMAZING! I always order over the phone to pickup the Spicy Chicken On Rice, with a side of tabouleh salad. A good combo is adding on hummus/pita bread. With online coupons of up to 25% off each meal (occasionally), you cant beat the prices. Great food for a decent price that brings a piece of heaven to Pickerington. Go ahead and try it out! [I literally sound like theyre paying me to say this, but I really love it, no joke ma homes!].

My wife and I just returned from here and it could not have been a better experience. The gyros were awesome and huge, the fries were bountiful and delicios, and the chocolate balls were delicious, perfectly sized and well priced. But the best part was the service. The son of the owner waited on us and did a magnificent job. He was polite, made good conversation, had a genuine smile, and seemed escited to be working. I am excited to go back just to tip him some more! Great food, great service, great price.

Good customer service. But besides that worst Greek food Ive ever eaten. Took too long for just 4 falafels, the burger was over powered with feta cheese and cold, the floor was completely sticky with whatever was spilled there before and was not clean after, also the food was extremely over priced. I mean if you want to pay 35.00 dollars for only 3 kebabs then be my guest, but if it was me I would go right across the street to funny Greek theyll treat you right!!
