I can not express enough how amazing city barbecue was at our wedding! Our guest were blown away about how amazing the food was. The way that city barbecue presented the food was above our expectations. City barbecues level of quality and style would appeal to anyone, whether it is a casual barn wedding or even a elegant statehouse wedding. The staff were very sincere and were very accommodating to our timeline of events through out the night. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. If you have been to any of the restaurants you know how scrumptious their food is. Their catering service brings the same food to your event with out compromising quality.

Great Gumbo love it, the greens were awesome, they had alot of meat and perfect spices. I had smoked chicken leg/thigh and brisket combo, both meats were really good, had smoked ring and tender. My grandson had ribs and mac and cheese, the ribs pulled off bones easy and he ate every bite of the mac and cheese! Husband always get pulled pork and loved it! He likes the hotter fire BBQ sauce. I prefer the original. They both got banana pudding and loved it, I got my favorite peach cobbler, and even hot it free with the city BBQ ap! Love love the store in Powell, define our favorite BBQ place in Columbus!

We visited for a late lunch with a larger group (10 people) and had a wonderful experience. Our food was prepared to order---we decided to order several pounds of meat and larger sides to share family style---and the staff answered all of our questions and provided us with serving utensils and plates. The manager checked on us several times; everyone was friendly and engaging. In fact, this may have been our most delicious City BBQ experience yet. Our out-of-town guests are still raving about the food, especially the brisket. Thank you, City BBQ!

I just want to say Dana Slaughter is the rudest, dirtiest employee you can have. I have spoke with the manager on the side about her mannerisms. Always saying "Word", she smells, her teeth are disgusting and her attitude is what makes you see all of this. I love this place, this is the best City Barbeque in the city, but Dana Slaughter needs to go. Shes foul. She talks about unrelated work issues and is so loud and annoying, that I truly do not understand why they hired her. Fire her and save grace.

Great food, quick. Super tender brisket, condiments in a cool tool chest, sweet corn pudding, classic sodas. The catfish was really good too. The potato salad was good, but kinda mashed. The BBQ beans had too much sauce, but the chunks of brisket in it made up for that. The green beans with bacon were not crunchy and pretty good. My brisket came as a lunch size sandwich, and it filled me up.

Its a barbecue chain - everything tastes decent enough, but more like smoke than the specific meats, and is really dependent on the sauces for flavor. The sauces are decent enough, but nothing spectacular. Service is a bit odd, especially during a busy time, as its a small space with lots of folks standing waiting to pick up.

Loooove this place! And it was our first time here, so the young gentleman at the register explained everything to us patiently, helped us figure out what to order for our kiddos, and gave us our drinks on the house. We will definitely be coming back, because the food was excellent too! Great sauces, tender meat. Yum!

A great variety of barbecued meats, equally great sides and the best tea Ive ever had. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken, smoked turkey, whole chicken, sausages. Ive had them all. Im usually a guy who likes to fall into a rut when I find something I like, but this place is the exception.

Food is always good. We pickup from this location once every couple of months. Food is usually done on time and the order is correct. One time they messed up our order, but that was once out of 15 times.
