I cant begin to tell you how disappointed I was when I learned that my pre-ordered rolls were not available for pick up. I asked a friend to pick up an order from the Northfield/Macedonia store last weekend. I had planned a bridal shower for my out-of-state (future) daughter in law. I made it a point to pre pay for all purchases to make it easy on the person picking up the order. I ordered balloons, chicken, a cake and knot rolls (for mini sandwiches). When she got there, she was informed that someone from the bakery had SOLD MY ROLLS!!! She was offered pull-apart dinner rolls in their place, which she accepted, but she had no idea what their intended use was! By the time she arrived at the shower with all the food, it was too late to try to rectify the situation. What was the sense of pre ordering and pre paying if the store goes and sells the items to someone else anyway??? Such a disappointment.

This giant eagle is my local giant eagle that I have probably spent 2g at by now. It is always clean and well Organized. To the person that said the produce was rotten, iv never had a problem with that. Not even once and if you want something extra fresh, just ask any of the produce staff who are usually stocking the shelves with fresh produce to get you something that they havent restocked yet. The employees will drop what they are doing and led you to anything you are looking for and make sure you are completely satisfied. Always clean and friendly.

This three-star review is more like 2.5 stars. Nice place, well kept, but so very expensive. One might try to argue that its over higher quality product, but I would disagree; although they do sell high quality product, they are not the only grocery store in the area that does. They do, however, have a state liquor store inside, which is definitely an advantage in the area, but not enough to make me a regular shopper. Id also be willing to change this review if I can be proven otherwise, but for now, a 2.5/5.

I wanted to work there in the Deli dept.. I worked at Peppers country for almost 1 1/2 years!!! Loved my job!! And this little IDIOT WHO WAS DOING THE INTERVIEWS PASSED UP A GREAT DELI WORKER!!! ESPECIALLY WITH THE """"EXTREME LOW PAY AND HOURS"""" THAT YOU OFFER!!!!! And I WAS happy that they did Not hire me! I was to good to work there.. I still shop there .. But I wouldnt work there...

This was a bad experience for me. I chose this store to shop after 11pm. I checked there website it said open to 1 am. Just After 11 p.m. they an announced there closing. In 20 minutes. It wasnt even midnight. It was brought to the attention of a manager. His attitude was who cares get out.

Its a great store. Well stocked, fresh produce, bakery, gorgeous flowers, and overall a fantastic local giant eagle. Lines are long and could go a little faster. My only complaint. Prices are higher but you do get a better selection,plus the gas perks.

I really started to hate giant eagle, horrible customer service, very overpriced, every time I go, I regret I went there, now that there is no Eagles nest, there is really no reason for me to shop there!

Recently remodeled as of 1/2017! Fresh produce and bakery, deli dept, meat and seafood cases are followed by a mix of value through premium brands of supermarket items.
