I have been hiking and biking past this place for the past 4 years and just noticed them. They said they have been at location for about a year I guess i need to look up and look around. Anyhow the people there are great, the food was fantastic (even with being on the busy side) and too low prices i think, and they have nitro brew which is my favorite coffee drink. 5 stars dont seem to be enough and i love how they have a downstairs, music and roast their own beans. I will be back especially to catch some music. I will be recommending Wholly Joe to everyone for sure. Thanks for a wonderful time.

This is it, this is the coffee shop that Akron has needed for so long! Great atmosphere, comfortable and cozy space. The owner is completely amiable and clearly this is his passion. Coffee is perfectly brewed. In the downstairs area, where they host local musicians [I havent yet gotten to be there for this], theres a great collection of vinyl records to play, tons of books to read, and artwork all over the place. Really a perfect space for this -- so glad that I found it!

Stopped in to chill and get a cup of coffee, and this place is awesome! They regularly put on events featuring local artists and musicians, the staff is all really cool, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic! The pour over was maybe the best cup of coffee Ive ever had. Didnt get any food but I saw someone else getting some and it looked amazing. The owner is very nice and personable. Definitely stop in and give this place your business.

Dave, the owner, provided fast, friendly service that went up and above. The Espresso con panni is served with 3 small amaretto cookies and a small glass of sparkling water. They topped the Espresso off with whipped cream. I had a bleu burger and onion rings during my 2nd visit and it was delicious and delightful. The onion rings were the best I ever had!

Came here last Saturday with my friend and it was amazing. They had live music playing and I had a camper mocha which was incredible. The food was great had the flatbread and they even have a downstairs with a old stereo and records. Owners are super nice and super great. This is my new place to be. This place is amazing. Stopped here with my girl friend and live music was playing. They have a downstairs with lots of tables and seats and a old stereo with records. The food was fantastic and I got a camper mocha that I couldnt believe it was so good. Def my new hangout with my friends. Thanks guys keep up the great work!

Great place to de-stress. When you walk in you just relax. Wonderful art and two levels. The downstairs is like being in your living room with live music. The chilli was phenomenal just the right amount of heat. The pastries are to die for. With being on such a busy street it is surprisingly quiet inside.

This is a unique coffee shop with a spacious layout. There are plenty of seating up stairs and down stairs and the tea and coffee are very tasty. The staff is really friendly and they have local singers come out to play on the patio. Highly recommend going for a nice afternoon break.

Creative and delicious coffee and tea specials. My drink, the "camper mocha" had a flame-toasted marshmallow on top. Service was very personal and the owners are awesome guys with a passion for serving unique drinks. I think well be studying or chilling here often.

Great coffee! Friendly service. Fast free wireless Internet. Seating indoors, outdoors, or downstairs. Also downstairs: a big TV and a vinyl(!!) record player. There are just a few parking spaces in front, but more in back.
