Wow I get to write something good about a truckstop restaurant. But first let me tell the bad: I walked in looking for a place to sit... Every booth I walked by was dirty and needing cleaned "oh well" I walk to the very back to sit down.. The waitress says hello but I was never waited on.. sat for maybe 10 mins and she never came by..... so I go sit up front at the bar/island area.. This is where the good comes in... I was greeted nicely by a young gal right away. What really surprised me was the fact that she spoke to me politely and with proper grammar. . I wasnt yelled at from across the restaurant or I wasnt pointed at from a far. The gal Whitney was the best waitress I have had on this whole month and a half trip I was on... maybe all year... shoot maybe ever. But this is how a person visiting your establishments should be treated. Im not sure if its just the way society is going but wow is it incredibly horrible service I get from most of your restaurants. This time it was a pleasant experience. Thank you.

I got Salad/Soup which my soup was ham and beans I liked it but very salty if they salted it they really shouldnt the ham will give off enough salt.. Salad was good they just stocked that so I got lucky there.. 1 kid got fish w fries they liked it.. the other got chicken & fries. Better half got Buffet bar he said pretty decent but he didnt eat the garlic bread and neither did kids they didnt care for it.. and we all love garlic bread.. I tried chicken Alfredo from bar it was alright. Would I go back to eat nah, Id rather eat out of gas station or go to a Restaurant our bill was $36+ because 1 kid got to eat free ages 10 & under.. I got a water while the rest got a pop.. If your not a picky eater its okay to eat here but I would keep on driving if I have another choice. Just okay food. But I love good food and Im picky and Ill atleast try a place once!

Its an ok place to eat. The menu is uninspired, balnd, and pretty much designed to blow your gut out. There is almost nothing worthy of note. Id call it a step down from Dennys and a step sideways from fast food. At least they have a pretty decent salad bar and they are open all night. The Christmas and Thanksgiving buffets were exceptional. I give props for the results. Ive never had a meal that good from a truckstop. Iron skillet needs to figure out how to carry that effort to the rest of the year. I just wish they could figure out how to clean the grill off before making an omlett. Id also like it if they would use real butter and not the whipped butter flavored lard. They have several flavors of jam ... as long as its grape or strawberry flavored gelatin cubes.

In a world... where food tastes like plastic... One Man... Stands alone... Against the beancounting forces of corporate chain buffet darkness... His name is Chef Paul. I go to a lot of places, to the point Im almost resigned on giving up the buffets... then the winds (high winds) push me to the Iron Skillet where Chef Paul shares his craft... I try the Italian Chicken, and it reminds me of home cooked meals my Mom made for me as a kid. The ingredients not only great quality, but they have been paired properly and treated with respect. His food is flavorful, rich but not greasy. Down home taste I had almost given up looking for. Thanks Chef Paul!

Rude waitress . Ignored me and my baby for ten minutes .Had to carry my baby in one hand and go a high chair for her in the other .Then sat for another five minutes while three servers strolled right past me several times without asking if I need anything .I finally yelled excuse mam can I get a cup of coffee.And its not like they were in the middle of a dinner rush or something ..I was just flat out ignored

Portions are TOO SMALL! Food is good though. If Im paying $13+ for a meal I should get a full plate. Not a little food on this part of the plate and a little food on this part and so on. And dont be telling me that I have to pay extra to get a full meal. You can cut costs in other areas instead of the kitchen. Ill be back again when the freight allows.

Fire the cook immediately!!! Ordered a steak medium and I got warm and bloody. Not rare but bloody. Then told my waiter to make another and what does the dumb cook do. Warms up the bottom and leaves the top still bloody and this time cold. Never eating here again with that cook on the grill.

I got totally ignored my experience here was bad! was standing at the cashier and she just walked away to go clean off the table thank you for allowing me to keep my money in my pocket! it must have been a black thing

Love the Iron Skillets. Just started trying them out, and so far I love them. Should take a star off because they only had half the food on the buffet as others, but the food they did have out was amazing.

The food bar was not looking appetizing....old an yukk.......I ordered the losianna fryed fish ....soup no good! Rolls were great!!!!!! Fish was a 8.....out of 10 Watress was great.

Really good truck stop to stop at spend overnight if youre driving a big truck. The food is really good and the service is very good and very attentive. They do get busy at some times.
