I finally decided to try this place after reading the glowing reviews. I see that those positive reviews have to be written by Wah-Fu owners themselves. Anybody that thinks this is anywhere near good Chinese food does not know good food of ANY kind. My 11 year old son ordered the General Tso combination plate. I ordered the Pork Egg Fu Yung combination. Pork Lo Mein, a staple on every Chinese combination menu was only available Ala Carte`. Seeing as how Lo Mein is usually a measure of a Chinese restaurants quality I had to order it. 1. The rice is either Minute Rice or was soaking in hot water for three days. It was mush. 2. The General Tso contained 6 pieces of chicken and an overabundance of carrots and green peppers that were far past their useful life...the chicken itself and sauce were bland. 3. My Pork Egg Fu Yung was made from egg substitute or egg product and drowned in a bland beef gravy. Instead of pork it contained chicken. Hardly appetizing 4. The duck sauce was spoiled, I guess they dont refrigerate it and leave it on the table after they close for the night. When I told the waitress she of course said it was not spoiled because she made it herself. 5. The small serving of PORK Lo Mein looked and tasted like no Lo Mein I had ever eaten before and at 54 years of age I have sampled many. I never did find the Pork even after setting aside the many water chestnuts. The first bite had a taste of rotten fish, as did the second. I politely called the waitress over and told her about the problem and that I couldnt possibly pay $8.00 for something that smelled and tasted of fish. She brought it to the kitchen and returned after a few minutes and declared "Everybody taste, nothing wrong". Of course I didnt expect them to say "Yeah, it bad stuff". To sum up, the best part of the meal was the tea and water which my sons $1.75 8 ounce Sprite tasted like. If I could give a negative score I would.

This place was horrible, i cant believe the positive reviews on this dump! (It must be family members) The soup was good, but that was the only thing that was edible. I made the mistake of ordering Pad Thai (knowing that I was taking a chance getting it here) it was disgusting - way too spicy and burned. I took two bites and couldnt eat anymore. I told the waitress who was rude and unhelpful that I didnt like it and it wasnt cooked correctly, she just said, "Oh, sorry" and then handed me the bill! I took the bill up to the front desk and when the owner asked me how everything was I told him I couldnt eat it, it was overcooked and way too spicy to even try and eat. He said, " usually our Pad Thai is mild.. mmmm" while he was charging me for a meal I couldnt eat! I told him i was disappointed that I wasnt even offered to order something else (I was still hungry) he just shrugged and said to tell him on my next visit and he would discount something. I will never be back to this place! I had to go and eat elsewhere.

My advice is to not listen to the high ratings posted here as they are plants. This restaurant would rather try to stack the deck of favorable reviews than actually trying to improve their quality. Go ahead and look...most of the 4 and 5 star ratings are single posters and are probably family members who were asked to post. Whatever you do, dont order the shrimp in lobster sauce. Ive never ordered it before, and by the looks of it, no one else has either. I got a large plastic container of congealed goop that could have been used in a movie as alien guts. I know...I should have taken a picture. My advice to them is to use higher quality ingredients, greet each customer on the phone pleasantly and dont over pack the take-out quarts. Also, it is my mission to inform the Chinese restaurant owners of the USA to do away with those cheap red opened packaged chopsticks...pay the extra $$ and provide the completely sleeved, sealed, UV treated and connected chopsticks.

Not being a fan of big chain eating places where everything is "optimized" including the ingredients and cooking processes, family owned restaurants occasionally offer something very different and really enjoyable. Wah Fu has a few things going for it: the wall paintings and decorations, nice music. However, the dining tables and chairs and booth benches are unexciting. The food had a few good touches but over all was a bit lacking. It was clear that about half of the ingredients came from big plastic bags distributed by restaurant supply companies. Its difficult to make delicious meals from prepackaged constituents. Overall, - while very inexpensive and with a few interesting notes in some dishes Wah Fu leaves a bit of longing for more authenticity and better ingredients even if that would result in higher prices.

Im not sure how this place got 3.7 stars, the food was as bland as a heap of soaked cardboard and horrible. There was no flavor at all. We ordered our food and it literally came out 2 minutes after ordering. I know most people would probably be happy about that but that just did not seem right to me; we had 4 orders placed and there is no way it could come out in 2 minutes. Whoever likes this place most likely just crawled out from under a rock and has never eaten at any other Chinese restaurant or ever known a Chinese person in their life.

Whoever wrote the bad review must have been there on a really bad night (or is competition?) Found this place online when searching desperately for some fast food that wouldnt make us ill, as someone who doesnt usually eat Chinese food I will say I have found my new favorite restaurant! The orange chicken and chicken fried rice was AMAZING, and for how much we spent was extremely well portioned! Everything tasted super fresh and cooked perfectly, much better then I could have ever expected and I will be returning very soon!

My first time at this establishment and let me say WOW! As someone who has traveled to many places and have tried a variety of Oriental cuisine, I can honestly say that this is some of the best most authentic chinese food Ive ever had. The portions were huge and was rather inexpensive for the quality. It was an added bonus that they brought out fresh tea before entrees, which I thought was a great touch! Not the most beautiful of places, but the food definitely makes up for it.

God awful. I have never had general tsos chicken like it was there. Never with peppers and onions with a brown sauce. Oh and it smells awful. Good thing I dont have a shrimp allergy because the egg roll which by the way was disgusting had shrimp in it. Complete waste of money . They only wanted to swap meals with something else not give any of my money back. A complete waste of $9.25. Guess Ill have to keep trying to find another Chinese restaurant as Im new to the area .

I dont typically write reviews on restaurants but this was so bad that I wanted to warn others not to waste their money. Worst $22 ever spent! We had orange chicken and General Tsos chicken and they were both terrible! The coating on both chicken dishes was mushy and they had a metallic taste to them. There was no pork in the "pork wonton soup" and the egg rolls were soggy from the runny sauce of the meal because they were inside the dinner container. Will NEVER go back!
