I will share some biases beforehand. I love diners. I love small towns. I love local businesses. I love feeling like family. Although I love country-fried steak, the gravy was as thick and tasteless as mashed potatoes. Similarly, the green beans tasted like they were quickly cooked from a can. I do like the crunchiness of the perch. It reminds me of a childhood favorite. The cod is interesting, in a good way. Cod can be fishy, even moreso than perch at times. However they order, prepare, batter or fry the cod, it is very good. Please, please please make sure your wait staff want to be there. Service = paid bill. Decent service = tip. Good service = a larger tip. Nearly perfect service = double the bill.

Great meal and great service! well be back. As a warning, they dont take credit cards, Im sure better for them(keeps prices down from credit card processing fees). The Broasted Chicken is wonderful. Everyone is friendly! Prices are good, place is clean, what more do you want? Like I said," well be back!".
