Ive been in Dundee for a few months now and thought Id try this location. I ordered the pot roast 3 course dinner and my friend ordered the 3 piece dark chicken dinner. The soups were good: broccoli cheddar and loaded potato, hence, a 2 star instead of 1 star review. Everything else sucked: the pot roast was burnt and very salty, the chicken was cooked well but had no flavor on the skin, and the most disappointing thing: the ice cream sundae is advertised to contain hot fudge and lots of it based on the picture. It arrived with a small amount of off-brand Hersheys syrup. I ate two bites and stopped. It wasnt worth the effort to eat it. On top of that, the waitress saw that my water and my friends pop was empty. No refills were even offered. Also, there was a table of 5 next to ours. They ran out of salad in Dundee MI!!! Bad experience, and I will not be returning. Ive ordered the same meals at other locations and they were not burnt and did not taste like a salt lick. Stay away from this place, or if you risk eating here, ask if they have what you are hungry for to avoid disappointment! Go to Lonestar or Great Lakes! Similar prices with much better food and service.

On a road trip and needed to eat breakfast. We arrived just before 7am. Not crowed at all......promptly seated, drinks were immediate. Waitress (Natasha) started out very attentive. Took order, had nice hot food in matter of minutes. It went down hill from there. As soon as she dropped off the food, I asked for extra napkins since I do not like setting my silverware of the bare table. For the next 15-20 minutes, she catered to a group of men and never returned to our table. We both needed refills on our drinks and I was still waiting for the napkins. Just before we ate the last bite, she dropped off the napkins. I was like, WHAT? Are you joking me? She did return with check in hand and THEN asked if we wanted refills. She had terrible timing. Didnt even offer to give us a drink to go due to her forgetting us. NOt the kind of treatment I expect at Bob Evans.

I went with my son--10 yrs and he was not sure what he wanted--the waitress suggested ordering off the adult menu. I found out later, when paying for my bill, that the kids menu was free that day--there was no mention of this from the waitress. I ordered a deluxe burger which came "upside down" lettuce and tomato was on bottom, and burger on top. I thought this was just a silly mistake, but it turned out to be a little sloppy trying to eat it this way. The fries arrived cold at the table, and were over cooked and dry. Not sure why there was such a cluster of problems--untrained staff? When the cashier told me kids eat free, I mentioned that my waitress did not tell me this, and the cashier charged full price. It was not a pleasant experience, and was very expensive for the service and quality.

We ordered our food and sat there for half an hour waiting for it.. our waitress only checked on us once the whole time we were there and she wasnt even the one who brought us the food... you can tell the food was sittin on the warmer for a while, the plate was warm and the food was beyond cold. The hash browns were horrible and my boyfriends grits werent even cooked all the way. The apple jelly couldnt even mask how stale the toast was. They wont ever see me again.

Had to wait to get seated and then another 15 minutes and know one came to our table to serve us. Manager was goofing off with the help not even taking care of his customers making sure that we were getting serviced. Never experience such a horrible dining fiasco. We walked out and went to Apple Bees next store where we were waited on immediately. Never go to this Bob Evans they just dont care about customers or customer service.

horrible visit! cold drinks were warm and hot food was cold. waitress megan was slow and didnt seem to care about doing a good job. when i told the blond manager about it being a bad visit she just blank stared at me and walked away. really like bob evans but will not be back to the dundee location. 3/12/16 2:00pm order number 396085

If there are 4 servers and 4 tables it still takes them 10 minutes to come get your drink order. Possibly the worst service ever. Ive been back a few times thinking maybe my first experience was just at a bad time it wasnt. This place is horrible. I will NEVER go back.

Good food. Good waitress. But horrible experience trying to pay my bill. Stood there almost 10 mins. Been up plowing all night. Just wanted to get out of there. So ended up leaving extra cash. And was told I couldnt do that.

Waited for 20 minutes with empty tables . Order was wrong soup. Waitress had no idea we were hers . Manager came around and had to ask for refill from her. Never did come back. Poor training and Manager.

We rarely have a good experience here. About every 6 months or so we forget why we dont go here and try again. If we really want a Bob Evans meal, well drive 30 minutes to a different one.

Got some carry out two times in two weeks. I found the staff very helpful. Prices are inline with what you would expect at this chain. The food was both hot and good when we picked it up.
