I am from New York where Italian restaurants are the very best. This lovely little restaurant has excellent Italian food, service and atmosphere. Their cheese raviolis with marinara sauce is by far the best in this area. Happily they put parmesan cheese on the table rather than having the waitress hanging all over the table trying to grate it onto your food. (Out of mercy one must say that is enough, but it never is) Wonderful bread and herb olive oil, salads. We like to go there in the middle of the afternoon when we have the place to ourselves. I would like to see them offer Minestrone soup every day ... people will go just for the soup, salad and bread especially if they can count on the soup being there --- pasta e fagioli (pasta and bean soup) is another great Italian soup which you dont see very much in Ohio ... add a glass of house chianti and its heaven again. - While you are up there in Urbana, visit the airports museum. They are recreating an F17. Thank you for this little Italian paradise in a boring fast food culture.

The interior is wonderfully designed and well appointed. The service was fine. However, while the menu is appropriately limited (not trying to do everything, just a few things well) the food is actually only slightly better than average. The chicken on our pizza was thick cut and a bit dry, though the spinach seemed fresh. The coffee was a little more bitter than I expected: Better than gas station, but at or just bellow diner quality. It seems like a great atmosphere in which to enjoy a glass of wine or a drink and an appetizer, but I doubt Ill be back around for lunch or dinner if I want a reliable bite or my dollars worth. I wanted to support local business and gave Cafe Paradiso a fair shot, but the place comes off like a ritzy facade stuffed with mediocre food, out of touch from the farming town where its lodged.

Atmosphere was lovely, however, the service was terrible. Our waiter went MIA after waiting a half hour to even take our order. Had to ask repeatedly for bread to be delivered to our table, and once our entrees finally arrived, our food was warm on the outside and cold in the center. This "authentic" Italian food apparently needs to be thawed and microwaved. To top it all off out bills were wrong. Will not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Loved this cafe! My sister and I took a trip to go zip lining and found this cafe on our way home. I have a severe gluten allergy and am so happy with the selection here! The cook was so mindful about the severity of my allergy and my food was perfect and I had no sickness at all! I got the chicken alfredo penne pasta and a side salad. The dish was amazing and I totally recommend this cafe to anyone with celiacs!!

Just passing thru from TN..while spouse is here on contract job. After reviews I decided to give it a try. I called in eggplant with fettuccine alfredo. It came with house salad and creamy italian dressing, homemade bread and olive oil with spices for dipping. I had soo much food will have to finish it tomorrow! Shout out to Ashley for assisting this southern twang..

The food here is excellent. My favorite entree that I have tried thus far, which came recommended by the waitress, is the Lobster-shrimp ravioli with the red pepper cream sauce, and I highly recommend it to you! Their creamy garlic dressing is house made, and tastes wonderful. They offer bread and dipping oil, reminds me of Carrabbas.

For some reason I only think of this restaurant on Sundays... when theyre closed. Too bad the Arch Bishop still has jurisdiction over this small farm community, cause they serve one hell of a lobster ravioli. Maybe this next century will show a move from the archaic practices of old.

I dont know why pasta has to be so expensive, but if Im going to pay high prices, this is the place to do it! The food was good, and the service was amazing. I was on a date with my wife and we both loved it. The sauce was an in-house tomato and it was delicious!

I stumbled across this place on accident while passing through and couldnt be more pleased with our selection. The food is incredible and its such a cute little cafe. I stopped for lunch and I wish I loved closer so I could try out the dinner menu!

I had tilapia which was pretty good. The risotto was pretty good too, but too rich in my opinion. Service was fine. The restaurant was not full, but the noise level was LOUD. I wouldnt mind going here again, but I wouldnt suggest it.

Nice locally owned Italian restaurant. Large portions. Tilapia was mediocre. All other dishes were very good. The homemade Roasted Tomato soup was excellent. Plenty of Gluten Free entree options ( no GF pasta options)

Amazing little gem! The pesto cream sauce is delicious. The bread and olive oil are perfectly seasoned. I eat out in the Columbus area frequently and this is a fantastic little Italian Restaurant.

Soup and dessert was good. Lasagna was old and overcooked. Spices were overwhelming. One person to handle the bar and all of the tables. He did try, but they needed another person.

The rissoto is the best Ive ever had, and the sriracha cream sauce is spicy without being too hot.
