For those looking for the real deal American diner ... this is it. Sure theyve got a great breakfast with real potatoes, eggs and bacon. Sure theyve got homemade red sauce for their ravioli. And yes, they have Salisbury steak on special, and serve sweet tea! But the absolute killer is a homemade meat loaf, served three slices, and accompanied by chunky mashed potatoes, sinful gravy, and peas and carrots! Man-oh-man, this is the stuff you write a letter home about ... just to tell Mama that youve found her replacement ... well, except that Fifth Wheel wont do your laundry for you. Definitely give this place a try. Youll be glad you did.

Waited almost an hour for our food. We had a party of 5 and there was only 3 other people eating at the restaurant. They had a couple of call in orders, but the wait for our food was ridiculous. Our food was very hot when we got it. My husband raved over his burger, which had sautéed mushrooms and grilled onions. The chicken strips are okay.

Food was absolutely delicious,prices are great and its a cozy,kind and relaxing place to eat. I drive about a half hour away just to eat here,from downriver to Newport. Portions are huge and tastes like homemade. My husband got a coffee and not once while we were here did his coffee reach under half cup. Love it here!

Never again. It took 30 minutes to get our food. We sat around watching people that had come in after us get there food before we did.when the food came absolutely disgusting.
