My husband and I took my dad to dinner about a month ago. We have always loved Bob Evans but had not been there for several months. Our waitress ended up with a table of 12, so she pretty much couldnt have cared less about us after that. y. The sausage was also lightly burned and that taste sticks around forever! It was the worst meal my dad and I had ever had there. The sausage and cheese omelet was very dry, so disgusting, and I hope it hasnt ruined the place for me. My dad got the turkey dinner and almost gagged right there at the table! The crepes (which they screwed up and put topping on top after I asked for them not to) didnt come until we were finished eating. I asked for more grape jelly (none at our table), and she brought me back ONE...yep! only one! Then she went running off to her "big" table. After running the woman down again for more jelly, she came back with it and pretty much threw it on the table while running off to the big table again! I used to be a server, know how hard it truly is and wholeheartedly believe in tipping. However, if you suck, you get nothing. She got nothing...wish I could remember her name.

This is my second bad experience in 2 months so I blame the management. Took family for breakfast both times on friday the place was fairly busy. Our server was very quick in addressing us and getting our drink order and returning and then taking our order. That is were the problem starts. Burnt eggs and potatoes and it was luke warm, eggs inedible potatoes what little there were also burnt. I ordered sausage gravy & biscuits the biscuits had to be 3 days old very dry I tried to put strawberry jam on one and fell off taking a layer of biscuit with it. This was our second trip, I dont have time to go threw that whole mess. My take is the cook staff just dont care because the management is telling them to get it out and the management is just trying to please corporate and getting tickets to the cash register.

On 9/19/15, my Mom, Sister, and I went to the Bob Evans in Marysville, OH. We arrived about 8:30pm. Within the first 15 min - the waiter took our order - all was fine. The problem was - he never came back! We asked for coffee twice! No coffee. 30 min later - he still had not come back. He wouldnt look at us - or stop at our table. After 45 min - we got up and walked out. We didnt say anything or stop at the register. We just walked out. None of us had ever done anything like that in our lives before. But this was ludicrous. I have to say, weve been there a number of times before and this has never happened before. We had a young gentlemen waiter - who slid around on his feet. Hed take a few steps then slide the rest of the way. Really? How unprofessional. #bobevans.

Horrible. Only 3 tables occupied in the entire restaurant, dirty tables beside us never got cleaned, we received dirty silverware and upon receiving another set of dirty silverwear I had to go to the bathroom and wash our forks and spoons. The rims of the Ball top mason jar glasses where the lids screw in were so dirty with something the crud flaked off. It is obvious the dishwasher is not working correctly. The bad part is someone had to see it because the silverwear was rolled in napkins. How many people neglected one task. Continually had to to ask for refills, and waited for a very lengthy time for our check. They did not have hamburger buns, or pancakes. I wish this rating would include uploads of pictures!!! On 5-31-14, My wife and I stopped for lunch at the Bob Evans located at 1080 Lydia Dr. Marion Ohio. Our wait for a table seemed long for just 3 couples ahead of us. Once seated, there were at least 3 tables waiting to be cleared with employees joking around with each other . Our waitress greeted us properly and brought us our drinks but noted they were out of tableware and said she would bring us plastic-ware. A couple minutes later she said they were out of plastic-ware but did find one knife. Our table was inline with the kitchen door and we noticed lots of trash on the floor, it became evident to us this store manager had no expectations or a handle on the staff. We told our waitress about our dismay and said we were leaving.

I cant brag about this Bob Evans enough!!! If all the resturants in Marysville this I the one to go. It is clean, affordable, but what makes it stand out the most is the staff. Everyone here, especially the servers, are beyond amazing. They are consistent which is great. I have never ran out of a beverage or had to wait for something I needed (i.e a fork that fell on the floor or extra straws for my children). The servers are very attentive and extremely sincere. If they served garbage I would go here just for the service. Luckily they dont! The food here is always amazing and if it isnt perfect the manager and waiter will make sure you leave full and happy. Thank you again for the excellent service! And always great food!

The service and food at this restaurant has gone downhill very rapidly....we have respected and ate at this restaurant more than any in this town, but today, just about ended our trips there.....SLOW service is an understatement......Wait staff was fine, preparation time was absolutely disgusting....The only reason we didnt get up and leave was because of our waiter who was embarrassed as well....AND I dont mind telling you that I have seen several of the same type of complaints on Facebook today, so when this hits social media, as hard as it has recently , look for your customers to find an alternative place to eat...White Castle or Bostons seems like a better choice anymore..AND the food wasnt all that great either....

Called ahead with carryout order due to limited time for lunch. Arrived and a young man was cashing out a lady and said hed be right with me. A large group then walked up to cash out, each paying separately. The cashier turns and says "just let me ring everyone through since theres a long line forming." Seriously? I went from being "next" to waiting for 7 other people to be rang up. I ended up having to leave and go through a drive-thru to make it back before lunch was over. Terrible customer service and no common sense. I wouldnt recommend this place unless you have nothing but time....

I would not recommend this place during lunch time. It took them laround 5 minutes to ask us for drinks. They are very slow for lunch service. About 25 minutes to get our food. The new broasted chicken is nothing special at all. Not ever close to Popeyes or KFC. I am pretty sure their mash potatoes are made from a dry flake like the cheap stuff you get at a grocery store. I could tell because of the texture of it. All and all just avoid this location. Bob Evans is good but this one is not living up to the standards.
