I have unsubscribed from your rewards program for the following reasons. I had dinner on 5/19/2016. · I tried to order a beer from the beer menu only to be told that over half the selections were not available. Of the 5 different beers I tried to order, every single one was unavailable. · I ordered a bowl of the chicken and rice soup. It was extremely salty and I could not finish it. · I ordered a Caesar salad and it was drenched in dressing making it unappetizing and again I was unable to finish it. As soon as I was served my salad my entree came out. That is unprofessional and discourteous. The waitress should have known better if she was trained but I dont see any training present. · I ordered the beef brisket as my entree. This was old beef that had been dried out and was tough and tasted old. I do know fresh from old beef and this was definitely old meat. Its texture was unappetizing and hard to chew. The sauce made it somewhat palatable as it covered the old meat taste. I travel to this area every month and look for a good meal but I can honestly say that of the several meals I have had at your restaurant, I have not had one pleasant meal. I have tried your restaurant several times so this is not a onetime occurrence. I have given you a number of chances to see if I just had a bad meal but to consistently be served sub-par meals is my mistake by allowing it to happen. I will not come back and I suggest you make some changes in your management style and serving

SO, keep in mind when reading down through the reviews its easy and sometimes more motivating to write about a negative experience. I find it to be the case as I travel around the country and look to these reviews as guidance when I travel and search for something good to enjoy. I came close to keeping Chops out of the short list for the area based on the reviews posted. Then, timing for the evening changed. Chops became the restaurant of choice for the evening. So its a Saturday night and the place is busy. As you might expect for a mid summer evening. So we pushed away from the 20 minute (typical) wait time for the dinning room in favor of immediate seating in the bar. I would call it typical sports bar atmosphere. A little loud on background noise for dinner chit chat but doable. FOOD - I had the 8oz Sirloin (medium) sweet potato w/green beans. Very good quality and preparation but my steak was just approaching the dry side. My guest had Chicken with a really good vegetable combo. Almost a sweet and sour kind of sauce with a touch of heat. Everything was very good and portion size is also good. So two great meals and a bottle of Cupcake Merlot(very nice) for $60. I would recommend and do it again.

Ugh...terrible food. Three of us went last night, the people were friendly, the food was beyond terrible. I ordered the strip steak med rare...came out med well and dry and tasteless..the mashed potatoes were a clump of dry mess smothered in what tasted like jar gravy. My daughter had the veggie burger and ate about 1/4 of it, the shrimp appetizer was undercooked, the french onion soup was so salty it was un edible, and after a $100 check ...we will never go back. this may be a place to go for a beer and maybe a burger...but dont expect anything more than that. It was our first time and last time there. I will say thought that the staff was very friendly , but not efficient....I waited 5 minutes to get a steak knife , that I ended up not needing cause the steak was terrible and about 10 minutes for my glass of wine....the server said everything was great that we ordered, but clearly , she doesnt eat there. Would NOT reccomend to anyone...go to Slyyders in Geneva..the prices are more reasonable and the food is fantastic....

Went here for the first time tonight. Not impressed. The NY strip steak was over flavored, dry, and tough even tho it was cooked to a proper medium. My son ordered the sirloin and it was just awful. It was tender and cooked properly, but it tasted like they used an entire bottle of nasty spicey steak rub on it. He spit it out. (Now mind you, he HAS eaten here before and had the same steak.) I tried it and did the same. We sent it back and the waitress was polite and offered to get him something else. By the time she came back to get his order the rest of us were finished eating so he just opted for dessert. When it came time to pay the bill, they originally were going to charge me for the inedible steak, but after speaking to the manager she took it off the bill. For that I will give them props. The waitress was very sweet and did a good job checking in with us. The manager was also very nice. I just was not impressed with the food.

Came here the first night that I was in town, and ordered the Great Lakes Red beer in a 25oz mug. Its a great beer! Came the next night to have a couple more and the waitress brought me a 12oz snifter glass and told me that they wont serve me a mug. So... I told them that I would just order 5 or so. After the second one, they told me they were out of that glass and served me the beer in their Tom Collins cocktail glass which is about 8oz. The first night the beer cost me the same as each beer cost me the second night. Super lame. Especially when each of your friends is sitting there with 25oz mugs. And youre there drinking out of your baby glass. HOWEVER, the Great Lakes Red is a 5/5. Awesome beer. Just go there to drink it. ... Just added a star cause their ribs are awesome! Delicious ribs that take the sting and pain away from my beer episode above. Haha

extremely satisfied with this restaurant! My friend and I had a taste for ribs so we did a web search for the Geneva area and Chops came up. So we decided to stop in. Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent staff, Very attentive to us. It was a pretty busy night too. we ordered a cocktail shrimp appetizer, and the shrimp tasted extremely fresh. Many times you can tell it has been Frozen thawed and refrozen and has a freezer burn taste to it. This was very very fresh, and the horseradish cocktail sauce was superb. I got the beef brisket with a loaded baked potato and coleslaw. All done to perfection. I also got a strawberry iced tea. Best one Ive ever tasted, honestly. My friend got this half slab of ribs, sweet potatoes, and salad. She raved about it. Our waitress, Trisha, was exceptional. I could not be more pleased for a meal for that price.

I came here with my family and my basketball teammates and we asked for two tables next to each other so I could sit with my teammates and they were like we dont have enough waiters so we cant do that so I put a review online that said how stupid it was that we couldnt get two tables next to each other and the owner came to my table and was harassing us about how they take the reviews seriously and it could make or break the business so my question is am I not allowed to speak my opinion??? Plus the food was terrible the meat tasted like 3 years old and I would never go there again ever and the service was terrible our waitress only checked on us twice so I recommend not going to Chops.
