I am sitting here at lunch the next day, enjoying my reheated pizza from last nights foray to the Creekside Tavern, a local haunt for Alum Creek boaters and the hardy souls that live in the area. My neighbor turned me on to this place a couple of years ago when they first opened. He said, "I believe it may be my favorite pizza anywhere!" I couldnt believe it. "Anywhere?" I pried. "Yes, ANYWHERE!" Naturally, I had to see for myself. He was right. But beyond the pizza, they also smoke their own wings out back each day. Thats why you will always find a crowd here, usually made up of great wings and pizza and cold beer lovers.... and hungry boaters and hardy soles that live out here!
