My first time at BurgerFi was a successful, despite it being only their second day open. I set the bar low, expecting relative chaos, but was pleased to find that even with a line out the door, the staff of BurgerFi seemed to have everything under control. The service was fast & friendly, & the food was delicious. Overall, the wait was about the same as if you went into a sit-down restaurant, ordered with a server, & then waiting on your food to come out to you. I assume that once the novelty has worn off, the lines wont be quite so long & the overall experience will go much more quickly, but the lines moved pretty fast, even on day two, so if youre hungry & impatient, dont necessarily be scared off. Ive seen/heard a lot of complaints about BurgerFis prices, & my solution for those people is simple: If you think BurgerFi is too expensive, eat elsewhere. But let the rest of us have this one damn thing, OK? Its great to have see an organic fast-casual joint settle in town, & BurgerFi is a nice alternative to the greasy burgers at Five Guys & the questionable meat at McDonalds. Order a burger or hot dog creation off the menu or, starting at $5.45, create your own. Healthier options are also available - quinoa burger, chicken apple dog, lettuce in place of buns, etc. A host of their toppings (onions, jalapenos, etc.) are free/included, & others (chili, onion rings, etc.) are available for an added charge ($1 for everything but bacon, which is $1.57). Fries & onion rings are not included & thus cost extra; they, too, come in a variety of styles & with accoutrements like cheese, chili, parmesan & garlic, etc. I loved their plain fries with cheese sauce on the side, but I cant say Ill return to their onion rings, which are each the size of my face & pretty impossible to eat. As an apropos-of-nothing note, their BBQ sauce is fantastic, & you should try to create a burger that includes it. The staff seemed to be on the ball & incredibly friendly, keeping the line moving & the restaurant clean. Im glad to see BurgerFi in town & hope they do well here.

Burgers were pretty tasty but... They were very small. The wife and I did enjoy the taste our burgers but felt that the price did not reflect value of the meal. My wife ordered the breakfast-all-day burger and it was comparable in size to a Big Mac. I ordered the $10 CEO burger and when it came to the table I had to ask the worker if they brought me the wrong order because the sandwich looked nothing like the picture and was much smaller than I anticipated. Granted, food rarely looks like the pictures but this burger was not much bigger than a $3 dollar double cheeseburger from a fast food drive thru. I had to pull the buns apart to see the beef patties inside. It was delicious but I left there wanting more. The burger options were also limited with no burgers offering mushrooms or jalapeno peppers. They appear to use a similar business model as five guys burger in that they offer extremely large sides to make up for the smaller burger sizes. But at Five Guys at least they offer toppings of your choose as well as a triple burger option. While we did enjoy the taste of both sandwichs that we tried there, the small portions, limited burger options, small seats and loud atmosphere will likely keep us from returning.

The burger my wife and I had an amazing beef taste. I got some of the BBQ sauce as well on my bacon cheeseburger. It was very delicious. Unfortunately, like as others have said I dont believe the price really reflected the size of the burger. This, however, isnt the reason for 2 stars. If it were the sole reason, I could assure a strong 3 star review or 4 stars. They gave us a little metal V to place on our table that had what Id assume was our order number. There is like a rubber circle that is removable on the inner circle of the table that says something along the lines of "keep your metal V things here." Being fidgety patient type of person I was flapping its sides and checked underneath. The good news is ,from the amount of moisture found underneath this rubber mat, you could tell they wipe the tables down quite often. However, they dont wipe the table dry, just slap that bad rubber baby right down onto the wetness of the table. Im not sure if it was mold or rust underneath the mat but it did NOT smell good, and is my main reason for this low star review.

I went to burger fi last night and had a very uncomfortable experience. I took my family visiting from California to eat there. Heres where the problem begins. When we walked into the restaurant the cashier said "oh s*** theyre comin in deep!" then we walked up to the counter and he didnt say one word. I said hi, greeting him politely and he said "hey". I ignored the awkwardness and continued to order and when we went to go sit down one of the cooks started singing a very explicit song, talking about ejaculating all over someone, and doing inappropriate things to their mother. I didnt see anyone who looked like a manager and honestly didnt trust that anyone would do anything about it there. We got our food and ate as fast as we could and left. I love burger fis food sooooo much and every time Ive gone my experiences have just gotten worse and worse. I never thought to anything about the past times because I love burger fi so much I just didnt care but last night was not okay at all. I hope no one has to go through anything like that in front of their family.

This was my first time going to this establishment. It is not run with any organization or urgency. We ordered 2 milkshakes the employee then took the 3 orders from the guys behind us. Then started to clean the counters and then started to leave from behind the counter to clean the tables out front when she finally realized she never made our milkshakes. She started to make the milkshakes but other customers came in so she stopped to take their orders (12 minutes of wait time). The line just kept getting longer after 15 minutes and the line not getting shorter she calls out for someone to come out the back room to help. The helper passes out the food that was ready now at the 20 minute mark she starts to finish making the milkshakes. We refused and asked for a refund. She complied and completed that in 3 minutes. We left this place in about 25 minutes with no milkshakes and a bad experience for this place. Management needs to train workers how to handle crowds. Not sure we will go back. I have given one star because I cant post without any stars.

Great flavor in the beef patties, and cool selection of well planned burgers. BUT it always takes forever to order at this location, every table was filthy (the restaurant appeared understaffed and while only a quarter or less full while we were there, the impression was that it was very busy earlier) all the trash cans were overflowing and any further trash would just fall to the ground, in fact the entire restaurant appeared filthy, the employees didnt know the password to the free WiFi advertised everywhere you look, and the food looked nothing like advertised. The best part, for 2 adults and 1 child to eat a relatively small lunch, we paid $47. The area has too many great burger choices in Akron to mess with this place for the price and lack of pride at BurgerFi, despite the good burgers
