Most of the food is good. Ive had the hummus (which is hard to screw up), a few of the sandwiches, and some other appetizers. My big hang up with this place is the service. Ive yet to have a positive interpersonal experience there. Even when picking up take out orders, its been awkward and I feel like Im almost an inconvenience to them. I always wait around and when someone finally comes to the counter I dont feel like their exactly happy to be taking my money. The strangest experience was when my husband and I dined in for Sunday brunch. As usual, they were clearly understaffed and when we walked in, we were reluctantly shown by the woman, who I believe to be either the manager or owner, to a dirty table that was wiped off after we sat down. I got the biscuits and gravy and my husband got french toast: both were terrible. Our server was very sweet but she was clearly overwhelmed. Then, toward the end of our meal, the woman (owner and/or manager person) stopped a customer from leaving the restaurant by yelling from behind the counter, "you DO know you didnt tip your server...do you know my girls work for next to nothing and depend on tips to make any money?!" I think its great that she wanted to stand up for her servers but the way she handled it was AWFUL (not that she was the most warm and/or inviting person to begin with). The whole restaurant was silent and the customer she stopped was without words. Her demeanor was so intimidating I would have been terrified to tell her how awful our meal was. We havent been back to dine in the restaurant since. Also, their website still says that theyre preparing to open June 29th. I called last Monday to see if their menu was still the same as listed on their website because the site has not been updated since their post-fire reopening. The gentleman on the phone replied by saying, "well, what did you want?" I didnt know what I wanted...I was checking to first to make sure I could still even use that menu. He said, "some stuff is different, some is the same." I told him Id take a look and call back: if they had what I wanted, great, if not, Id try something else. He replied again by saying, "were not open on Mondays," which is fine so I said, " Oh, sorry, its been so long since you have been open, I couldnt remember." His response?: "well weve NEVER been open on Mondays." I literally irritated him with what was obviously too intense a line of questioning. Im so done with with this place. If they hate running a restaurant so much, maybe its time to do something else in life.

My friend and I ordered the broccolli burger and the tofu sloppy joe. The broccolli burger was really good but the tofu sloppy joe was average. The reason I gave a 2 star rating however is because of the amount of food you get for the price. I literally ate this broccoli burger in 4 bites, and with a 20% tip I gave it cost me over $9.00. The bun is whole wheat, 3 inches in diameter and is not very dense. And they only put a few table spoons of the broccoli mix on, with some sprouts and a few other small pieces of veggie. I was very disappointed. The tofu sloppy joe was the same size and didnt even taste as good. I found it a bit bland. I know a lot of people gave this place rave reviews, but atmosphere only goes so far with me. I dont think I will go back.

Love this place so very much. Tasty, inventive vegan/vegetarian food! Awesome staff. Being a vegan living in Columbus can be difficult. This is one of the only restaurants in town (notable exception is Bettys) where I have to look over the menu for quite some time to make a decision. I love it! My first visit there, a very friendly member of the staff gave my boyfriend and me a whole bag of vegan cookies for free, because "everyone needs cookies". I couldnt believe I was ignorant of this place for so long. They really make you feel like an individual and not just a "patron".

Just had an amazing meal! The broccoli burger is terrific with sliced avocado added, and its a favorite of mine at Whole World. I also had todays special black bean sweet potato soup, which was amazing. Whole World is probably Columbuss best vegan & vegetarian restaurant. Its a cozy and friendly atmosphere, and the people who when here are really sweet. Plus theres awesome art on the wall. The big, colorful painting by the front door was made by their cook, and this month they are featuring photography by my friend Autumn Eden. Great place to eat; try it out!

SLOW, no really they are super slow. Visited this place for the first time yesterday (Sunday evening). There were 12 other patrons at 4 different tables, so not too busy. Went in to place an order to go. Got the gyro and reuben. Was told itd be a 15 minute wait. I kid you not when I say it was over 40 minutes (had the receipt to check the time stamp). People who came in after us were served before we got our order. I was really disappointed by this as I liked the food I got but that was an unacceptable wait time especially for 2 things. Will not be returning

The best vegetarian restaurant in the city!! In addition to the menu, their daily specials are great!! I LOVE the vegan pizza and nachos - "healthy" junk food lol! Everything on the menu is soo tasty, and more importantly, HEALTHY! Whether youre a long time veggie, or just wanna give it a shot, youll be converted after you eat a meal here! Staff very friendly and helpful, LOVE IT!!

I love this place, Ive been coming here since Ive moved here. The food and service is great. Although Ive been trying to catch their Chili for the longest I still go back. One thing that kinda shocked me is that the waitress ran me down outside because I forgot to fill out the tip on the credit card, not that I wouldnt have tipped her I just forgot. I just found that a bit much. 5*****

While I respect that this place offers a vegan and vegetarian menu, the food was horrid. The staff was rude, And the establishment was uncomfortable to occupy. I would not recommend this restaurant to my vegan and vegetarian friends. They were out of most of the things that my friends and I tried to order, off of their already small menu.

SLOW. I waited 25 minutes for my dinner, but had to leave early because of a hair appointment. Sucks because I left early from work and I wanted a nice meal in beforehand. The kitchen worker I saw moved at a glacier pace, and Im pretty certain I saw her taste test with her hands and kept the same gloves on.
