This is a nice store with a great selection. The Satarbucks inside is nice. The customer service from some workers leave a lot to.be desired. I have been shopping often while visiting for myself and for family. One day i asked if they have any ash trays for sale and where to find them. The bag boy said "oh i dont know". I then asked the cashier who said the same. In my frustration i said "wow you guys are so helpful". The cashier sensed my frustration and stepped up and offered to ask customer service for me. That was nice, but that shouldve happened first. Second incident: I got into line and realized I forgot bagels. I asked the cashier where they were and she told me. I asked the bag boy if he would mind running to grab bagels for me please. He said "no i cant its my job to bag the groceries". I was irritated cuz I have a 5 year old so she and I walked ourselves over to the bagels and held up the line. I couldnt believe he actually told me its not his job to help, only to bag. When he offered me help out, I refused. Why would I want him to help me after that? I am used to Publix service where the bag person is more than willing to assist with things like that. The customer service is lacking at Ingles. They are going to be sorry when the competition opens their store with their 1st class customer service. I hope Ingles can improve their employees attitude about service.

Check your beer when you make purchases at Ingles. I got an expensive beer as a special treat. I dont drink that much so the 6 pack had been sitting in a cabinet. Tonight I thought I would have one. I discovered there are two BLUEBERRY beers with the same brewerys bottle cap being the ONLY THING THAT SHOWS FROM THE SIX PACK. When you are paying over $2 per beer and dont want BLUEBERRY beer, this is irritating. Ingles SAYS "Its state law, they cant take them back" THAT IS NOT TRUE. 6 months ago I got an expensive 6 pack at Green Life in Asheville. It had been recommended by the beer guy. It was horrible. The other singles he reccomended were good. I asked if I could just pay for the one and exchange the rest for something else. I know they sell singles. They were very gracious. NO PROBLEM. I KNOW INGLES SELLS SINGLES IN CANTON TOO. SOOOOOOOOOOO, guess it isnt "STATE LAW" - just what Waynesville Ingles feels like doing. I will shop at BiLo, GO and Green Life. Dont really need to shop where the rules are whatever they say. Maybe Ill go in and shuffle a few beers around in several six packs, so the management can tell those customers thats their problem too. By the way, the fish is better at Cintells and the Pork roasts are a better buy at GO, Walmart had lovely beans at $1.79 1/21/12 when Ingles were $1.79 today. See, You dont need Ingles. And it isnt better.

Like the majority of other Ingles for the most part. Ill up my rating if youll post well-visible notices about your parking lot being on an incline, and for people to mind their carts. Ive seen multiple people neglect their cart and have it roll away into someones vehicle, only for them to collect it and shrug off the occurance. Someone hit my car today as I was about to pull out and walked away as if I wasnt even there.. I know it may seem like an odd request, but it appears that many of the elderly patrons dont realize the physics at play in your parking lot. The acknowledgement may spare others some property damage and frustration in the future.

I love this Ingles! It has such a wide variety of everything from bread to wine. There is what I call a wall of cheese that is wonderful. Oh, dont forget the in store Starbucks. The employees are incredibly friendly and love to help you locate whatever you are looking for. The meat section has a wide variety of anything you need or want. I dont get my meats from anywhere else. If you havent been I encourage you to check it out. It is a good store if you are just visiting the area or if you are a long time resident.

While the prices arent the lowest in town (actually theyre probably the highest) this grocery store does have the nicest facilities which were newly renovated in 2015 and also hosts a huge ready-to-eat section and the widest variety of groceries in the area. Employee customer service may not be the shiniest but is usually pleasant and ALWAYS helpful. Always busy but rarely slow...except for the deli. Procuring deli meats and cheeses can be excruciatingly slow at times.

Nice new store but even thou its huge, doesnt carry items the store in neighboring Canton? does. it is constantly out of stock of some items I buy. Youd think if its a high-demand product, theyd buy more to begin with. Can be very frustrating! Parking lot has hookups for electric vehicles, nice outdoor dining patio with beautiful view of Waynesville and the Smokies.

A mid-to-upscale grocery chain originally out of Asheville. Very similar to Publix, if youve been to one of those. Ingles has friendly, professional staff, a clean atmosphere, and great selection. This location has a Starbucks, a full restaurant/deli area, a pharmacy, and one of the largest beer/wine selections Ive ever seen in a grocery store.

Can we get an aldis? So these people dont feel" Hometown" by selling a bag of rubbery celery for 1.79? Nothing about there produce (or anything else for that matter) is from local farmers? Dont fall for this marketing strategy.. tanimura and antle, fresh express and crystal farms none of which come from" Your local farm to your plate "

Great salad bar and the Boars Head deli meats are awesome. This seems to be the flagship store west of Asheville. Great food variety of food options such as Boarshead subs, pizza, Chinese food, country food and gelato. They have a wonderful salad bar as well olive bar and a wing bar. Also a Starbucks is located at this location.

Great clean new store, but, they are bad they just stop carrying items you buy..some of them, they say they just dont have shelf space..it gets aggravating.. Managers dont make any effort to help you..they will say the company no longer makes something but you can go to other Same Named stores and find it..

Great Wine section. I like the deli a lot, very good customer service. The design has you walking the entire store which is annoying. Meat department is not appealing. Decent fresh veggies. Starbucks is a plus but dont expect benefits. It is a branded starbucks not a stand alone.

Im from FL, and the best compliment I can think of for Ingles is that this feels like the Publix of NC. They have a great selection of fresh-prepped foods, a salad bar, and a great selection of groceries. The parking lot is probably the most beautiful Ive ever seen.

Well I am a little biased here since they now offer free charging for electric cars, but this is the best place for groceries in Haywood County. Good selection, great lunch deals at the deli cafe, and the staff is always accessible.

Quality place for grocery shopping and for grabbing a quick coffee to go. Have been visiting this Ingles for nearly a year now and have yet to see any negatives. Everything is easily accessible
