This review is ONLY regarding the Singerz Pro Shop (The pro shop when you first walk in). My dad decided to surprise me with a bowling ball for my birthday and, though it was an older ball, I was still very appreciative and excited to get it drilled to my hand specifications. First off, the Pro Shop is tiny. That should have been my first warning that the operation would be sub-par. But I proceeded and wanted to give Rod a chance. When I showed the Rod the ball, he made fun of it because it was a couple years old. He also badgered me the entire time because I didnt buy a ball from his shop. Typical case of a small man, with a small job who, just because he knows more about bowling than the average person, feels like he can go on a power trip and be condescending in his little hole-in-the-wall shop. I wont lower myself to call this man the names he deserves to be called, but the last I heard, the customer comes first and deserves respect. I could have let all of that go, had Rod Singerz actually drilled my ball correctly. When I first tried my ball out, the thumb hole was so incorrectly drilled that my thumb stuck. Just an overall waste of money, time and interaction with an unpleasant, little man. Taking my Pro shop needs elsewhere.

I have bowled at Sequoia for over 10 years now, and continue to choose to come here over any other place in Columbus. I have had a great time here with many different groups of friends over the years, and would recommend this place to anyone interested in a fun night out. The lanes are high quality and maintained well, which makes casual, league or tournament (even PBA) bowling all great options here. A great variety of league options for a wide range of skill levels, both fun and more competitive formats alike. They continue to invest in their lanes with things such as new TVs, scoring system, and glow + cosmic bowl equipment. The alley has good extra-curricular activities too, including a bar, karaoke, a game room, and plenty of TVs for sports. The prices are very reasonable on everything, including the good food and beer selection, and the staff is personable, fun, and hard-working.

`Seemed like a good place to bowl...at first... We paid, and got ready to bowl, the first game went great, but at the second game, our lane started to mess up. So, we asked for help, they reset the lane...4 complaints later the lane still wasnt fixed. They wouldnt let us move to another lane, and kept saying that our ball was too light and we just needed to keep resetting When we reset, the pins fell before they were set..(Apparently our fault) Not a pro bowler, but I feel like a 12lb ball isnt that light. When we asked for our money back, the manager literally laughed in our face and said no. As we were leaving, he also had the "kindness" to ask if "We had fun?" When I said no, he laughed and said that the lane being broken wasnt hit problem, but ours. Seemed like a great place, but being laughed at by the manager when their lane is broken kind of brings the mood down.

Better and cleaner than your average bowling alley. Recently upgraded computers/terminals use a tablet-like computer thats much more entertaining and customizable than the old boxy CRT-based 1970s models Ambience is inviting, although a little crowded for space when all the lanes are running. Didnt buy anything from the snack bar, but selection and quality looked commendable, although prices were typical of a bowling alley. Arcade was smaller than most, but the entire alley also seemed to be smaller than most. Strangely enough, the alley is located deep in a suburb, making it a little difficult and confusing to find. Better-than-average prices for bowling, and the all-you-can bowl is a deal as long as you dont have more than 4 people. Otherwise, the price-per-game ends up being cheaper. In the end, not a single complaint.

Last summer of 2012 we had a company function and utilized the Bowling and Volleyball Park for an annual event for our employees that turned out wonderful. The staff was very friendly and kind and they went out of their way to help us to whatever we needed. They catered to our needs and did an outstanding job. I would recommend this fun, local, within the city limits to have a place to go bowl and play volleyball and to have food and drinks and to socialize with friends, family or meeting new friends on the court. I, along with my friends are now frequent visitors because of the ameniteis they offer. Thanks Sequoia Pro Bowl and Volleyball Park for making our event a success.

I love going to Sequoia with some friends. First off, it is an older facility but second off, it is a bowling alley people! Go and have fun, if you want to select the crowd that you will be sporting with just go golfing. The lanes all seem to be reasonably well maintained to me. After all they do hold a professional bowling event there that is televised on ESPN (It cant be THAT bad). They have a pretty decent bar that was recently renovated and a really cool patio with volleyball courts and an outdoor bar. Or you could be like Chandler and only go to the swankiest of bowling alleys ;)

Be sure to pay for drinks in cash, the bartenders like to give themselves tips off your card. ** No misunderstanding. I tipped the bartender with cash in the bucket and cashed out on time, Your bartenders just feel self righteous stealing from the customers even though they paid gratitude and closed out on time. Its happened twice to me already and the last time was a test to verify if this place was a rip off or not and it only proved my suspicion. Next time Ill be sure to keep the documentation and bring it to the attention of the authorities if it happens again**

Im in a weekly league. Our league always gets a nice fresh house pattern. There is a large food menu and a reasonable number of beers on tap. One huge plus is a nanny room for the kids to be in while our team bowls. The scoring machines are mounted tablets, much better than the old crt in a console. There are several HD tvs between the lanes so we can follow any sport that we wish. I also recommend the pro shop here. Quick and reasonable service.

I went here on a Friday, which is usually pricey in this area. There were 2 of us, we got 6 games in 2 hours for 28$ with 1 shoe rental, which is a very good deal! The in hous pizza was cheap, large, and VERY good. The bar was reasonably priced, atmosphere while bowling was comfortable too. Only complaint was that the computer had a few glitches, but that might have only been my lane, and nothing serious. Good night out.

I was in town visiting with my family and my kids decided they wanted to go bowling. We were recommended to Sequoia by a friend and we were not disappointed. What started out as a regular Friday night of bowling and pizza turned into laser lights and music! My family had a great time rockin around and my son loved the lights. Sequoia is a now a must stop whenever my family is in town.
