Where to start....We cannot find much to speak favorably about Hollywood Columbus I suppose putting the fact out there that we has a loss record 2016 for nearly $20,000 and have to BEG for a little food comp. Unlike, most Hollywood Casinos Columbus has nothing to offer NOTHING for their upper level players. For instance, Hollywood LAWRENCEBURG, Indiana has a Producers lounge, comps free hotel night, and offers my FREE concert/show tickets. Lawrenceburg lounge offers discounted alcohol drinks and hor dorves and serves FREE meal in the evenings.Columbus Hollywood has not personal hosts for Executive Producers so there is no one but the cage employees to deal with. The young short haired black "supervisor" as she refers to herself, in the cash cage as is arrogant and dismissive when I try to pin her down for answers regarding my account. This is the way I have been treated in my last three encounters with her. Last night, thinking they could not have a more rude employee, I approached a millennial male with a shaved head, he identified himself as MIKE, the cage boss. I know where the black girl learned her customer service style. He, too was rude and would not allow my to state my complaints without interrupting me. The casino has implemented a new system for EARNED dining credits this month. My dining comps were supposed to be loaded on my Rewards card two times this month and neither was on my card. He tried to DISMISS and send me away with a $10 coupon. (The only thing that I could purchase is some of the worst greasy under cooked sandwiches and cold fries at "Take Two" snack bar. I have in the past purchased doughy breading inside fish fillets and raw chicken breast tenders.) The cooks need fired. Back to the rude supervisor and cage boss. We parted company with my telling him that I would return in four days and I expected an accounting of where my dining credits had went. He had told me, it will take him a while to research my account. I may be an old fat white haired baby boomer but my masters degree deems that I must not be near as illiterate as these two employees treat me as. In four days, his attitude best improve and he had better resolve my questions. I KNOW THAT MY BUSINESS PAYS HIS SALARY AND I KNOW I CAN FIND HIS BOSS. We visit usually every couple of weeks. We won a $2500 slot hand pay in January 2016 and we have done nothing but feed machines since. We enjoyed Hollywood in the early days. Final Cut steakhouse is nice but that I expect when two meals without cocktail is usually $125-$150. The buffet is very average and pans are left empty for the entire time you are eating. Dont go in after 8 p.m., food is empty or low and crusted over. I could comment on food quality but I will leave it at, if your in to mashed potatoes that you can POUR,,,,enjoy. OH LOUNGE is probably the best bet although we were served spoiled salmon and sirloin steak that could not have been drier or tougher than my husbands shoe sole. They are slow to seat but the pizza has always been great. If your lucky enough to get waiter Mike, he is wonderful, professional and efficient. I think he should be promoted to cage supervisor. In closing, it is nearly impossible to get a cocktail unless your are gambling in the high roller area. In the near future, we will be taking our money to a casino that APPRECIATES our gambling.

We went here on New Years Eve expecting some good entertainment, food, and gambling. We expected it to be busy, but also expected them to be prepared for a New Years crowd. They were obviously not prepared, and the customer service was horrendous. From the start, it was nearly impossible to get a drink. Theres only one main bar, and we stood there for 30 minutes without placing an order. Ive been to plenty of busy bars so Im pretty patient, but it didnt seem like the bartenders were in a rush at all. They were taking their time making drinks, one order at a time, and absolutely no multitasking. Some of the bartenders were even joking around with each-other instead of making drinks. After a long wait, we sat down at O.H. Sports Bar & Grill. This was around 11:30 and we wanted to get some drinks before the ball dropped. 15 minutes went by from the time we sat down until our waitress came by. I asked if we could get drinks for the table right away before the ball dropped. 25 minutes later, she returned with our drinks in plastic cups, slammed them on the table, and walked off without saying a word to us or allowing us to ask for anything else. We didnt see her again for another 30 minutes, and had to grab a different waitress to get waters (which she returned with promptly). When I asked to see a manager a young guy wearing normal attire (not what youd expect of a manager in a Casino) came over claiming to be a manager, and gave some canned sugar coated response saying "hed speak with her" about it. He walked away without offering even an apology, let alone any consolation for our terrible service. When the waitress later returned to ask about our checks, she called us out about it saying "even though you guys told on me". When she returned with our credit cards, she literally threw the booklets on the table and ran off. (The books slid on the table, hit my fork, causing it to strike my beer bottle. ) Today, another person in my party called the casino to complain. Apparently who ever she spoke to confirmed that it wasnt the manager that spoke with us. From what Ive read in other reviews here, this casino has a lot of work to do in the customer service department. Ive been to many casinos, and this one has by far been the worst experience. Ive never been to a casino that didnt shower you in hospitality, let alone make you fight for some like this one does.

Ive been to several casinos, Indiana, WVa, PA and on East Coast. Hollywood in Indiana is by far better than Columbus. They offer better comps etc. Ive been to Hollywood in Columbus at least a dozen times and lost a ton on their slots.I get comped a lousy $ 15/wk. By far the worst of any casino. Their give aways are a joke. They recently gave away pots and pans that they didnt have enough to satisfy all those that they sent postcards to. They want $7.95 for a hotdog with no fries or anything. You have to drop $500 into their slots to even get enough points for a hot dog! $32 for a buffet? Are you kidding me? And no discounts on the Friday seafood buffet ($32). You put your light on for service and no one comes for at least 30 minutes, yet you see groups of employees everywhere. They give out so much on their table games they set their slots to lose. I talked to a guy that gets comped $475/wk. thats insane! Yet I get $15/wk? They advertised a group that I wanted to go see. We went to see them,no where to sit of course. They are ill prepared for large groups. Some lady wanted 2 of the taller shots of tequila at the bar and was told they could only sell her one at a time. She gave me the cash and I got it for her. She was at a slot pretty far away and would have to come back for the other shot otherwise. How dumb is that? Some of their slots have minimium of $1.50 and they pay out terrible. We lost a bunch in one of those machines, they suck. They hung baloons on machines the other night and said theyd give $25 out if they picked the machine you were on with the baloon. I never saw them give any money out and they hung baloons on machines that were out of order. When I asked "why?" they had no clue. Thats pretty much par for the course, no one ever has a clue there. The whole place is a disappointment. Their snack bar is a joke. No pizza. The other Hollywood has a great snack bar. They could learn from that one for sure. I know we are cutting up our cards and not going back, I hope they go out of business because they are horrible. Their slots are by far the worst slots ever. They arent going to be happy unless they rob everyone and they all lose their paychecks and retirement. If you want to play slots go to Scioto at leasts they pay out some of the time.
