I eat at hundreds of different chain restaurant locations each year while on the road as a long distance truck driver... and I have never gone out of my way to give any of them a Google review. This Bob Evans takes the cake! While spending a few days in town at a hotel for work, I walked over quite a few times to grab meals. Each time the hostess got me seated immediately, the service was about as fast as you can possibly get, very friendly waitstaff, excellent food, always hot coffee, etc. After a few times of grabbing meals there, I went in for dinner. The manager came to check in on me while I was having dinner and we had a really nice conversation. To my great surprise, the hostess informed me that the manager had picked up my tab that night for being a regular customer when it came time to pay!! Glad to see that there are still plenty of good hearted people out there, and plenty of restaurant servers, hostesses and managers who still put the customer first!

Was hoping for better service I tried one of the new dishes called the herb roasted chicken roasted to me is cooked in an oven until done but apparently they roast their chicken and then throw it in a deep fryer for a matter of minutes and then serve it to you I dont like deep fried food so with that being said didnt like my experience at Bob Evans truth always comes out so they brought me grilled chicken to replace the herb roasted chicken and I tried their barbecue sauce which was the nastiest stuff Ive ever tasted and as one of their side dishes they had on the menu cucumber and tomato salad I figured I was going to a salad with cucumbers and tomatoes in it no its exactly what it was cucumbers with tomatoes and it considered that a salad horrible experience didnt like it will I go back yes there is other things I do like there I just tried something new and wish I wouldnt have

Sunday morning, we we were told our party of 8 had a 20 min wait, waited an hour to watch our table be given to another group that arrived after us be given our table, right after they told us we were to be seated next. We went down the street to Perkins, who seemed us in less than five minutes. Id like to say this is an unusual experience, but it is not for this location.

Service is fast and friendly. The food is good quality and they use fresh ingredients. Coffee is great and orange juice is better. Just be weary of the scrambled eggs and potatoes, they are brought to you a little cooler than fresh off the griddle. Otherwise, exceptional experience at a reasonable price!!

I frequent this place on Sundays (At their busiest time) and they handle the overflow of people as effectively as possible. The food is consistent. The prices are slightly high. I do not like the carpet on the floor. I personally think carpet in restaurants is a bad idea.The wait staff are very friendly.

Seems as if everyone is miserable at their jobs here. The staff is arguing amongst one another. Visibly. My son fell out of his chair and the waitreas just stared at him. Not a friendly staff whatsoever. The food was consistent as usual. But I will not be returning here. A smile goes a long way.

I have had better experiences at this location, but today was not one of those. The music went or if control and played very loud the whole time we were there. Our waitress was not very pleasant. Maybe it was an off day, but today was just not that good.

First time in 27 yrs. Its fantastic. Staff are awesome. Food was delish & fresh & very reasonably priced :) waitress got a very hefty tip for going above and beyond for us. (i used to work in bars, now Im a truck driver) highly recommend this place :)

Personally enjoy dining at Bobs, but the service at the Marion location is shaky. Night and difference between the Upper Sandusky location and Marion. Uppers food and service are far superior. Overall, decent family food at a reasonable price.

They were out of several items that are Bob Evans standards. When the waiter came to tell me they did not have what I ordered. I started to tell him what I wanted and he tried to steer me away from my second chaice. Very dissatisfied!!!

The restaurant and restrooms were clean and the service was friendly. The food was prepared as expected. Its a little tricky to get to the parking lot since you have to take a service road behind other businesses to get to it.

They frequently screw up orders and not include items ordered. There has been multiple times food has been cold or not thoroughly cooked even though I had to wait to pick it up. The cooks here obviously are sub par.

I usually pick Bob Evans everytime my grandmother & i got out to eat but this past time was the wosrt ever! our waitress was rude, my chicken sandwhich was horrible.. my chicken was still cold and frozen

A little upset that during my last two visits they seem to never have their cinnamon bread. The only reason they always have the hot chocolate bread available is because its horrible and no one likes it!
