Desilusionado

So delicious! My husband and I ordered one "double fajita" that was half steak half chicken. The amount of food that came with that meal was amazing! Chunks of green peppers and sauteed tomatoes and onions inside .Definitely would recommend that. When we first got there we had quite a wait (Friday night) because its a popular place-we didnt care. We ordered a drink from the bar and sat down in their waiting area. We noticed some people were out on the patio having their drinks until their buzzer rang for their seat to be ready too. They start you out with chips and salsa free, PS its endless. Definitely would recommend a try you wont be disappointed. The manager took time out to come and say hello and see how everything was going. Very professional considering he was super young. So much food, that we ended up taking some of it home , yah, I have lunch it the next day, might have to hide it from the kids aka young adults

My first review of a restaurant. I would not go back there. Friday night we waited one hour for a table about 7:30. Tables are extremely close. We were seated next to three very drunk women in their 40s. We could not converse because we could not hear each other over the commotion at the rowdy next table. The people at the next table were taking pictures of us and others and posting on fb while making rude comments. I asked them to not take my picture and was harassed and name called until we left. Spoke to the waitress, then the manager who said they were regulars. The food was average. Fajita veggies were almost raw. Waitress forgot two items but they at least she did not put them on the bill. Poor management that will not confront drunks in a family restaurant. Others were complaining. In a nutshell waited for an hour for average food, average service and a manager who thinks his regular drunks are the boss.

Love their lunch Burrazo, too bad they dont offer a lunch menu on the weekend. At their Utica location my cell phone provider goes dark and they do not have WiFi for their customers, but they do have it for themselves. I had a good friend on life support and getting calls was pretty important. I asked a waitress to check with management as to why they did not have WiFi and became pretty clear to me that she was afraid to ask them. I personally asked an owner why no WiFi and she made it abundantly clear that was just not going to happen. Between not being able to conduct business and there being no reasonably priced lunch menu on the weekends, I spend more time and money at the other local Mexican restaurants that have WiFi and lunch menus all week long.

We were going to be in the area and looked online for a good restaurant for lunch. Based on the 4 stars here, we chose Mexican Village. Turned out to be one of the worst lunches weve ever had. The place was dirty. The pop was served in warm glasses. The service was horrible - our waitress never refilled our drinks or chips and salsa, which we finished because we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food after we ordered!! They served us chicken salad when we ordered chicken burritos -- so more waiting. The burritos were dry and bland. One TINY piece of mushy tomato in one of three burritos - otherwise just chicken and lettuce and a couple pieces of avocado. Seriously, horrible burritos. Would NEVER even consider going back.

Upon arriving we made it on time for our register, then was asked to wait 15 minutes longer after our 35min wait time. After ordering my chunky beef burrito expecting the description. Instead received a beef pot roast wrapped in a tortilla, and mozzarella cheese. My step father ordered a burrito as well but placed on top was a garden salad, and McDonalds cheese. Not the worst place Ive eaten at. That place is reserved for a restaurant in Lakeside and the Garlic Noodles they own. The rest of the food and service was great however at Mexican village, service being the high point. Time is 8:04pm just after eating at 7:46pm

My wife and I ate lunch here. Service was timely, and they refilled our chips and salsa while we were waiting for our meal. Maybe we both chose poorly, or lunch is not on par with dinner -Im doubtful of this- but the food was really bad. My wife ordered a taco salad; it came covered in pickles? I ordered a beef burrito which amounted to rice beans and very bland ground beef, and there wasnt even hot sauce at the table to alleviate this. Within a few minutes we were both in agreement that we never need to revisit this place, which is disappointing because of all the good things weve heard about it.

Our experiences over the years have always been wonderful. On 10/15/16 we took our grandson out as a thank you for helping us with our garage clean-up and for Sweetest Day. What a disappointment. Where we sat, cold air blew on us all night. The 2 Super Nacho meal chips were soggy, never have they been soggy right out of the kitchen. Finally, as other patrons received their sizzling fajitas, the waitress put mine on the table, no sizzle, nothing, warm, thats it. Very disappointed. We could have sent them back, we did not, we were hungry and freezing by then and just wanted to leave.

I am alone in this world...I dont have many friends and my ex wife left me because I outlived my usefulness to her...I went to this restaurant by my self and ordered my food and was watching a video on setting volume 3...not loud and the place wasent that busy I started to eat and then the hostess then walked up to me and told me to lower my video...I was very embarrassed....I was watching star trek next generation...so if I dont have anyone there to talk to I have to sit in silence...this is NOT a tech friendly place to go or people who uses them
