My family drove 30 mins because we were told it was a fantastic restaurant. We were only seated for ten minutes before we asked for the check to leave. I ordered a golden margarita and found it was very strong so I asked he waitress if I could sample the house margarita because mine was on the strong side. She rolled her eyes TWICE at us and walked away. When she returned I told her it was probably best that we just cash out for what we had received (drinks and cheese dip) because it seemed like we were just bothering her. She said ok, left and returned with the bill. I asked to speak to the manager and he apologized but STILL CHARGED US! We were there for 10 minutes total! I felt obligated to tip on the bill because I did not know if your waitress give the bus boys a cut of their earnings. I hated to think that others would loose out because of her bad attitude when they would have to still clean up the table. I am very very disappointed and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I know everyone has a bad day, but I have never had such a negative, rude server. Such a sad turn out when we were so excited to try a new local restaurant :-(

I started working there as a cook and I couldnt do it past the second shift. coming from someone whos worked in at least 10 different kitchens I can tell you that you do not want to eat anything here nobody washes their hands nobody wears gloves and the quality and preparation of the food is garbage and unfortunately I wish I could say that I was being over-dramatic but literally if you saw the disgusting kitchen you would say the exact same thing. sure it might be normal for kitchen staff to smoke cigarettes while theyre flipping steaks and drinking beer. you would think all the kitchen manager that would put a stop to something like that but no hes the one doing it LOL. the front of the house on the other hand is unique and the building itself is quite interesting. the owner? the cliche grumpy old man that NOBODY in there likes. the onion straws sit inches from the most appalling and filthy ceiling tiles with dust and grease hanging down over them. this place is a dump dont eat here I dont even think a coyote would eat here.

Classic Anderson staple. This isnt gourmet foodie food, its classic (I use this very lightly) tex mex and been prepared the same way for 30+ years. Margaritas, steaks and chops are great. The mashed potatoes, chicken fajitas (not your dirty Mexican restaurant fajitas, these are chicken tenderloins), machaca dip and salsa are some of my personal favorites. Most of the staff has been there as long as Ive been going. Its truly a neighborhood spot. I wont agree the chops compare to Rubys (because Rubys), but they have great flavor compared to some other local Anderson steak chains. Portions are big, value is there. To some of the negative reviews below, you should go back to outback or one of the other chains you frequent. I laughed about the margarita. Of course its strong... its el coyote!

We havent been for few years and were excited to get back. Unfortunately this is not the El Coyote we loved all years ago. My son ordered the surf and turf and the lobster was tough as a rope. Our server was in "emergency mode" from the moment we ordered drinks until she brought the check. Letting the drinks run out, forgetting our sides altogether and handing the out entrees by holding it up announcing its contents. For the price (which has gone up considerably) I expected better food and better service. But I would have settled for the El Coyote we used to live so much.

Terrible experience Took the family, kids hated it. 50+ minutes to get served Tortillas were soggy Food was mediocre, little or no seasoning, way over priced. Service was slow and got slower My teenage son ordered a shrimp Fajita with an extra side of mac & cheese, he asked for guacamole (got a tiny serving - maybe a Tablespoon?) and more tortillas during the meal. When the bill came, he inspected it carefully and announced just his meal totaled $32.00 If your in the area, El Trio in Mariemont, Chuys in Kenwood or Cazadores in Milford are much better choices.

Bryan Moore, is a complete dumbass an doesnt know what hes talking about, Ive been there 5 years on an off, he was definitely a creep an creeped out all the servers along with a few others, an he didnt last no more then 2 whole shifts for the fact he couldnt handle it, an was to hot for him. El coyote has the name it does for a reason for the great tasting food we put out. Sanatairy is a key in our kitchen... Come try out food for yourself dont listen to the dumbass below me, an sorry for the lanauge yall

Margaritas good and reasonable price Food good and a little high in price service good Chips and salsa, your going to charge me? REALLY needless to say is will be our last trip there, when it is free again advertise it and we might go back, what a joke, if I spend 65 bucks for 2 meals and drinks and you cant give your customers chips and salsa, I wasnt drinking water and eating chips and salsa free only. Good luck with that, you will turn a lot of customers away

Great service, excellent food, reasonable prices (hard to beat with a coupon!). Love the Enchiladas (El Paso, Dallas) with chorizo; salsa is the best in Cincinnati. We buy their fresh salsa to enjoy at home all the time! This is not your standard-fare Mexican restaurant where the dishes look nuked and lifeless... All-you-can-eat ribs were OK, not the Boat House by any means but I never had to wait for the next plate!

Always a great experience and service is great. Best margaritas in town. Have many food options for any budget. If youre splurging the porterhouse rivals any Ruby steak. For a lesser amount pork chops, sour cream enchiladas, and fajitas are great choices. Has been my favorite restaurant in city for years even through an ownership change. You wont be disappointed. Checkout deals Monday - Wednesday.

Been a long time since our last visit. We miss the West Chester location. Food was excellent and Margaritas were unbelievable. Our server Samantha was outstanding. Service was quick too! My only small complaint would be ambiance. Interior was a little dated. Lighting made reading the menu difficult. Overall owe would definitely make the drive and most certainly request Sam!!!

Apparently, they have an online menu but you cannot phone in orders but have to go to the restaurant for takeout. Or it was a lazy hostess. We originally stopped going when they started charging for chips and salsa. Also just saw they now have just one side with an order, not two as it always was. The food was always good, but they have now annoyed me too much.
