Friendly Service OK Food. The owner was on site and greeted us warmly as we told her we were 1st time visitors to her diner. My companion had standard breakfast fare, biscuits and gravy. I had a bite and it tasted homemade (or as all good cooks say, "semi-homemade"). I looked for an open-faced roast beef sandwich but there was none on the menu. The waitress said meh, we can make it for you no problem. Now that menu item for me is a test at any new restaurant, because Ive had really bad open-faced roast beef sandwiches, believe me. This was good, tender roast beef over thick bread. The rest, well meh, mashed potatoes and corn as sides are standard. They werent bad though, and Ive had bad sides too. The sandwich plate was $10 and while it was OK, I didnt think it was $10 good, you know? I had a cup of chicken noodle, and the broth was good but it was teeny noodles, almost like ramen and had way too much celery in it and not enough chicken and noodles for my liking. Our bill came to $23 so thats not exorbitant. The service was friendly and fairly prompt, and that matters. We would go back if were in the neighborhood.

Came out from the Westside to have the maubys onions on my burger. We saw you on New Day Cleveland. Your staff had no idea what I was talking about and told me that I was mistaken. We stayed and had lunch anyways . I had sausage gravy and biscuits. There was barely enough gravy for 1 biscuit let alone 2. While I was eating I looked up the episode only to find I was not mistaken. When I told the waiter he went to the back and came out with another woman who stated it wasnt his fault because he wasnt from Cleveland. Totally disappointed. Maybe your staff should watch the show you were on. Not the "cheers" atmosphere you described at all. To bad maubys was a great place where they really did know your name.

Decent prices. Friendly staff. Great service but food was not good. I ordered the hot apple pancakes, which was a can of apple pie filling dumped onto pancakes. The coffee also was not good. Find a new brand of coffee to serve and then Ill definitely be back. Maybe Ill try it again and try their lunch menu.

Great experience! Friendly fun staff that provided adequate service. Food is always very good [especially the chicken and waffles! ]. Prices are more than reasonable. Very kid friendly but never obnoxiously. We keep coming back even after moving further away.

The egg and bacon sandwich on a crossant was super good but unfortunately thats the only thing nice I have to say about this place. Service was horrible and a "large" OJ is $2.25? Please. I wont be back.

Love this place. Its cheap, fast and good. My favorite every time is the Corned Beef Hash combo. They also offer flavored creamer for your coffee.
