Ate there for the first time, today. The building is small (a former gas station, I think). When I entered the first thing I noticed was the decor, which was unimpressive--so much so that my first impulse was to back out of the door. But, I noticed the place was packed with people. So, I decided to give it a shot. There is a small lunch counter that seats about six. There are about a dozen 4-top tables and a couple of 6-toppers. Most of the customers were a mixture of professionals (mostly nurses on lunch break), three or four office workers, a table of auto mechanics, and one table of construction workers. There was one waitress/cashier, and perhaps two in the kitchen. I had the Chicago Dog, house-made mustard coleslaw, and a large Coke. The hot dog was the best Chicago hot dog Ive ever had (loaded with goodies). Ive never had mustard coleslaw, before, but Ill be having it again (its different but very good). The fountain coke was large and came with free refills. The menus are on the tables and the waitress takes your order at the table. Service was polite and fast. As busy as she was, she found time to ask me if the food was okay and if she could get me something else. I like eating where servers take an interest in me. The bill was presented before I was finished eating (as a retired businessman who travelled a lot, I appreciate that at lunchtime--you dont have to wait forever to get your bill). The waitress cleared my table when I was finished and asked if I wanted a refill on my Coke. The biggest surprise was how inexpensive the meal was. My bill was well under $8. And, I now wish I left a bigger tip--Ill make up for it on my next visit because Ill be back.

Went today for my first time. I had a small greek salad and a greek dog and the wife had potato soup and a cheese burger. The waitress was very nice, she had a friend there she was talking to as we where the only paying customers. The salad had no dressing the waitress said " gee he must of forgot to hand it to me" again we where the only table!!! When I explained about the dressing she asked why I did not tell her. Seemed she was busy with her friend. Anyway on the real side the place sucks it is a complete joke. I paid 20.00 and a 3 dollar tip for some dry lettuce and a cup of spoiled potato soup a cheeseburger and a hot dog with tomato and feta cheese. I am still pissed, you would think the bill would be adjusted do to forgetting the dressing. I am not one to complain but this was very sad the place needs to just close down

These hotdogs are really good!! Talked to the owner one day and he told me he gets them special ordered same with his hotdog buns you can definitely tell he gets good quality hotdogs and I dont mind paying for them. I think the menu is very fair priced in my opinion. I have had every hotdog on the menu and have liked them all. The ice cream was a nice touch, good for my kids when we go there. If the owner sees this review I have one suggestion I would like to see a homemade corn dog made with your hotdogs added to your menu I think that would be a good addition because who doesnt love a good corn dog come summertime.

That Jim Weaver review sounds like he is a crotchety old man. Really? The place should shut down because you ordered a salad and soup at a Hot Dog joint? What a baby. Ive been here about 3 times trying 2 different dogs each time and they are all awesome. The Chicago dog is loaded, and Philly dog is unique, my two favorites. Tried almost all of the sides, they all taste homemade. Fast service, great value. Ill be back again!

Ive never had anything quite like this before. I had the Chicago dog with a tofu substitute and it was delicious. The scenery is interesting, the waitress was really polite and fast, and the location was really convenient for me as Im at the Ramada down the road and this doesnt involve any highways.

Always stop by when Im in town. Awesome Chicago dogs, french fries ("Fair Fries"), beans, & ice cream are my favorites. Never had a bad meal here, the staff is always welcoming & friendly, & the prices are very reasonable. Ive recommended Dog Daze to many people & it becomes an instant favorite!

Great food all around! The owner and waiters are very nice. My favorite items are the West Virginia dog, coleslaw, fries, ice cream, and surprisingly the burgers are really great. There are also many options for vegetarian and vegan eaters.

Ive been there twice in a year and really need to go back more. Prices are great, food is awesome, (sometimes a bib is required) and the service is great. My taste buds always want more but my stomach tells me to back off.

Simple. Delicious. Cheap. They have a great variety of dogs that are all between $2-3. The Philly (cream cheese, peppers, and onions) is my favorite so far. I will definitely be going back to try more of their unique dogs.

The tofu dogs are fantastic. I wasnt wild about the grease drenched fries, but the hotdog options more than made up for it. They have a little ways to go if theyre going to compete with Dirty Franks in Columbus though.

Eat here often. Food is always good and service is great. However, the most notable thing to mention is that when it gets cold, they also serve home made soup. The stufted pepper soup is incredible!!!

Food was bomb ! And ice cream too but I dont like the fact they dont wear gloves for food prep or touching period and the staff was eating while making food as well as scratching their skin and hair

I eat here whenever I am in Canton. It is the best hot dog joint in the state. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu bit I love the hot Hungarian sausage and the pierogies the most.

Food is mediocre. There was very large spider webs on the corner of the building, sign, and running all long the soffits. Its was very unappetizing. The food is overpriced for what it is.

Excellent service and quality food. The hotdogs are really good and the macaroni and cheese and fries are great too. They had I think 16 flavors of ice cream... 100% recommended!
